far from dead I believe key here is investing in paid audits or doing audits yoursel. each time I feel I know it all, I find some new information and if amazes me why I didn’t work on this before. So no seo isn’t dead it’s evolved keep up or die at google hand.

What kind of a weird question is this?

If there are going to be search engines and web searchers in 2023, then seo wouldn't be dead.

Certain tactics may cease working but that doesn't mean SEO is dead. Anything you do to ensure your site gets ranked higher on Google is SEO.

People made efforts to appear first many years before the internet existed (for example: calling their business AAAAA electronics to appear first on YellowPages). Even if the ranking factors changed over the years, as long as search engines exist, people would want to be ranked higher.

This argument is not technological but biological.

I think that ads (google ads) are taking more place than before. So seo is not DEAD, but PPC is gonna slowly kill seo I think. For example if you search how to invest in real-esate + CITY you will not find organic result popping in the first position.
Google ads will take at least 4 positions.
And PPC cost a lot of money !

Well no the problem its more and more competitive and because google make updates all the time
And if it dont works for you it doesnt mean its dead ,for some others people its crushing with milions of visits per month
As an example i was also thinking that affiliate marketing was dead for me because i was not making any sales or very less compared to my traffic and i found that other people was making thousands per month
You need to adapt all the time

Definitely not. In fact, it's quite opposite of being dead because interest about SEO is only growing over time. This is just the beginning.
