Worth it or not, depends on how a Jr.VIP utilizes the Jr.VIP membership.
For a real example, I have posted a Hire A Freelancer and it has been almost 2 hours and no replies and only Jr.VIPs can reply. I hope Jr.VIPs utilize what they pay for, if not, I guess Earth would still rotate.

It is so funny seeing such senior / old members here who are Jr.VIPs, saying it is worth if you are active here. Being active here is not alone enough. Being active and being able to spot and grab opportunities (while staying within rules) is what matters. Communication skills also matter. Just being active here, will not alone make a Jr.VIP membership worth it. One needs to also have effective marketing skills and effective communication skills.
Example, a seller may reply "I can be able to do your task very good. I always on the time and I do discipline work". no matter how active such a Jr.VIP may be, I would never buy anything from such a member.

It's the holidays. Suggest a friend or family member give you $150 as a Christmas gift. Use that to get a JrVIP, then use the year that follows to answer freelance work posts, to make at least the same amount of money back. If you can't do that, don't renew, or else ask for another $150 next Christmas. Simple as that.
