WTF is going on with PayPal

Hello Everyone,

I have been using PayPal for the past 3 years soon after I started SEO and after successfully passing these years yesterday I got a mail from PayPal and asked me to submit some informations and proof.

Soon after submitting all these informations they permanently limited my account and they held my funds for 180 days. Now, I can't make payments nor I can receive payments.

Does anyone know about this? Or how should I solve this issue? I would really appreciate your suggestions.

Quit crying and just create a new stealth account.
Keep accounts to receive less than $10k per year and you will be fine.

Once you reach $10k in received payments in 1 account, just create another and keep going.

Eradicate the issue, that is paypal. It's the only solution to keep your stress regarding the payments low

Just a $10k? It's really hard when I saw my account limitations it shows $41k.

Find some other recurring payment gateways, It's not worth it to rinse and repeat when you have an established business.

Yeah, am planning to go with Stripe but many of new clients asks for PayPal if I say I don't have a PayPal it looks unprofessional.

Will you suggest any other payment gateways?

I don't know which method is safe now, never thought PayPal would do such things like a shit.

I just spoke to the PayPal team and answer is: It's an automated process (I was like WTH) it's completely childish and said they will solve this issue as soon as possible maybe in 3-4 days. Let's hope for the best.

Never leave that much money on Paypal. Having a few hundred dollars on there is ok (if it doesn't hurt you), otherwise, withdraw the money as soon as possible. People need to understand these guys (whoever decides it, nobody knows!) can destroy your business at any time without any reason.

100% This. As soon as your money hits your PayPal account you should withdraw it to your bank immediately.

Absolutely, There is a feature in Indian paypal accounts where they automatically transfer in your bank after 24 hours, lol

Paypal always does this. When you hold a lot of money they close the account and hold for 180 days. May be that is how they are making more money using those funds as Collateral.

yeah for USA paypal accounts, due to tax reasons, $10k per account PER YEAR is the sweet spot

If you go higher than $10k per year per pp account, pp may ask you tax info.

Instead of paypal use wise in last few years wise has become really popular so many people are using wise so you can easy do trasacation between you and your custumers or crypto is the best option

Thank you for all these Payment Gateways. I started receiving payments from Wise and registered for Stripe yesterday. But still many buyers asks for PP.

Does Wise have Buyers Protection? If yes I can suggest my clients to go with Wise.
