[72 Hour Water Fast]

I have been fasting since I was 6 years old. At least full month/year from sunrise to sunset and no water as well. Then you should do it 2 days a week (Monday and Thursday) and 12, 14 , 15 of every month.

As Muslims we have been doing this for +1400 years ^_^

Yes, I know! - I was in Dubai few years ago and it was Ramadan time then (Last few days of Ramadan).

I was invited to few Iftar (sunset / breaking fast) events and I loved the experience. I was told that true purpose of this month is to understand the importance of patience, sacrifice and charity. Then I experienced the feast day, I think it's called Eid or something like that. Overall, a wonderful experience and learnt a lot of new stuff:)

There is this guy (and others) who are "breathtarians", meaning they don't eat at all and only rely on the air they breathe to bring them all they need. According to this way of life, the lungs metabolize everything from the air (sodium etc ) so the body can use it. This guy didnt eat since months and seems very healthy. He thinks foods are poisoning the body, it's an addiction like any others.
He's extreme but I think he's legit, he regularly publish on his insta som cool and anti woke news. He also drinks his urine everyday, which I know is very good for health (urine therapy is use since centuries in many countries, Asia, Inida, etc and was used by the pharaoes, romans, as a life elixir).

I was FAT and 40, and am now 50+, in the best shape of my life, and this is coming from someone who grew up wrestling, skiing, and surfing among other sports.

I Trust in the human potential, which is seemingly boundless, and my aim is to enlighten as many as possible to this truth, via my own experiments/ tests/ lifestyle. I see this as the best way to be a catalyst to empower humanity, and make this a better world.

Do you know anyone who can go to 9 days (so far) with no food or water ingestion, and still be fully active, very alert and energetic, climb mountains, snowboard, surf, CrossFit train, run for miles, etc.? This is me. I have pushed past the point of needing to ingest anything (food or drinks).

I am a health "rebel", meaning that I do not subscribe to what we have been taught is health, nor do I have the common misconceptions of our capabilities applied in my own research/ testing/ experimentation. If I had these beliefs, I would not be where I am at health wise today. "Food pyramids", NUTrition, "you need meat for protein", all of it, I reject and have proven is invalid for me, through my own experiments. I also trust that I am NOT special, as ALL are capable of much more than we know, or are told are our limits!

I write articles, have a book in the works, coach people to health (with results to show), am active on social media and in the public, and as many have stated, fearless to express all truths I discover, regardless. I created this page so I could start to shed some of my "other" consulting duties and start to really do what I love, full-time, which is to be a catalyst for the empowerment, evolution, and happiness of my brothers and sisters!"
Yea, he also believes that the earth is flat. Doesn’t give him much credibility.

Hello Guys,

I just finished my 72 hour water fast earlier today and I feel great. I had 0 food intake for 3 days, only water and electrolytes to avoid any mineral deficiency.

Main reason of the fast was to cleanse / detox the body and reset metabolism, and allow my body to go into Autophagy.

During the fasting state I noticed enhanced productivity and focus than normal days. I am amazed on how many tasks I have been able to complete in last 3 days.

Although I was feeling great and could have gone longer than 72 hours but I was bit nervous and cautious as It was my first water fast.

Have you guys done a water fast? For how long and how was the experience?
Congrats on your 72 hours, now plan for a 7 day one, you will feel 10x better.

I would caution you to avoid minerals next time (and coffee of course which depletes them) as mTOR will be activated again by potassium.
If it's a fast, it's a fast, just water and that's it.

Omg. That's not easy.
But why water fast

How did you deal with leaving home and seeing bakeries with delicious cakes, the smell of your neighbor's roast chicken and other temptations?

Did you lost or gain any weight? Also did you measure body vitals before and after?

One other reason of doing this fast is to develop qualities of discipline, patience and control.

When you decide you're going to fast, nothing else matters. No food smells, cravings. You just tell your mind to don't even think that you're going to eat for next 3 days. Your mind play these tricks and find excuses if deep down you're not that firm on your decision, but if you absolutely are firm on your decision your mind will stay in control.

When you decide to do something, you just have to do it, no obstacles should be able to stop you.

I did not miss anything then he has taken only water in 72 hours. Muslims break fast at the end of the day and eat everything.

No, you didn't miss anything plus we don't drink water as well during the fast

Out of context: islam already proved that FAST is healthy centuries a go.

Except they always deny all offers of verification.

I think it was a couple of years ago I saw a short documentary on Youtube. A similar case to what you described above... that they can go without eating and get everything from the air but once they were offered to verify this (some scientific-environmental setup) then they always rejected such offers.

It's 100% fake. Extraordinary claims should have extraordinary proofs.. it's super easy to prove this in a closed environment with cameras/witnesses. For whatever reason, nobody has done this yet. This doesn't ring any bells for you? :D

I did a 56 hour dry fast before. It wasn't that hard since I used to fast during Ramadan as a kid. I was also very productive.

Don't know mate, honestly I don't believe in science TM anymore and prefer this kind of guy. Even if his continuous fast is fake, all his other advices are great and have been proven effective to improve your health (urine therapy, colloidal silver, meditation, etc). Yeah we have to verify claims, but something which has not been verified is not automatically fake. Many people get positive results after several days fasting. Btw I re-read his articles and I saw he's eating/drinking from time to time so I was wrong in saying he is 100% eating nothing, my bad. Cheers

OP can you explain more, how is this 16 no eat then 8 hors eat???

Fasting lifts the spirit and helps us relax our mind from having to eat always. I've fasted for a 24 hours, but always wanted to eat something. Its boosts discipline, and self concept too.
