Hello Guys,

I just finished my 72 hour water fast earlier today and I feel great. I had 0 food intake for 3 days, only water and electrolytes to avoid any mineral deficiency.

Main reason of the fast was to cleanse / detox the body and reset metabolism, and allow my body to go into Autophagy.

During the fasting state I noticed enhanced productivity and focus than normal days. I am amazed on how many tasks I have been able to complete in last 3 days.

Although I was feeling great and could have gone longer than 72 hours but I was bit nervous and cautious as It was my first water fast.

Have you guys done a water fast? For how long and how was the experience?

Never done it but it sounds interesting. I’ve only done intermittent fasting, eating only between certain hours of the day and I felt really good for doing that.

I think I’d get too hungry not eating at all though.

Nope, that is your insulin levels before going to fasting you need to fix your insulin.

Coffee triggers your insulin for example. You need to go to keto and it will normalize. ;)
You don't feel hungy, if you do fasting for 72h every year you will be good.

I used to be quite regular with weekly 36 hour fasts and the occasional 72 hour. But for the past 2 years or so, i seem to have lost all motivation and willpower to sustain even 1 36hour fast.

For first few hours yes, but when you're in Ketosis and your body starts burning fat for fuel then you will feel less hungry.

so no shit for 3 days as well right ?

Yes, but texture is watery. If you're curious I can inbox you a pic:D

Well you should do a salt water flush too while doing it which really gets the toxins out. imagine pissing out your ass at preasure and thats what its like. no farting though, you've been warned.

Yeah probably no need for a pic, he can just imagine a thin milk shake and instead of milk its just human shit :D

Congrats on doing one. I have done a 15 day cleanse before which was productive. have not done one for a long time though

That's incredible! - Was it only water for 15 days or other liquids too?

Good job mate.

I've done a 3 day fastings as well.

On the 3rd day I have a strong feeling that I want to run,run fast and hunt. No jokes.

Edit: Never fart when you're fasting that long or do 0 carb diet. You've been warned.

The first 3 days are actually the most difficult, i have gone on to 7 days and felt great.

I totally understand what you mean, for me it was first 7 days that was most difficult, but then I gone on to 21 days and it felt amazing!

Yes, I will attempt 7 days or more in future. I will do 2-3 more 72 hours then increase a day or 2 and eventually get up to 7 or more days.

It is good, healthy without going hungry, if you stay away from places where they are preparing food and you concentrate on it

i was homeless for a few days once upon a time and i only drank water and didn't eat any food for days. but i was always walking and walking day and night and the only food that i had was water. i felt like i was pitbull because of hunger

There is this guy (and others) who are "breathtarians", meaning they don't eat at all and only rely on the air they breathe to bring them all they need. According to this way of life, the lungs metabolize everything from the air (sodium etc ) so the body can use it. This guy didnt eat since months and seems very healthy. He thinks foods are poisoning the body, it's an addiction like any others.
He's extreme but I think he's legit, he regularly publish on his insta som cool and anti woke news. He also drinks his urine everyday, which I know is very good for health (urine therapy is use since centuries in many countries, Asia, Inida, etc and was used by the pharaoes, romans, as a life elixir).

I was FAT and 40, and am now 50+, in the best shape of my life, and this is coming from someone who grew up wrestling, skiing, and surfing among other sports.

I Trust in the human potential, which is seemingly boundless, and my aim is to enlighten as many as possible to this truth, via my own experiments/ tests/ lifestyle. I see this as the best way to be a catalyst to empower humanity, and make this a better world.

Do you know anyone who can go to 9 days (so far) with no food or water ingestion, and still be fully active, very alert and energetic, climb mountains, snowboard, surf, CrossFit train, run for miles, etc.? This is me. I have pushed past the point of needing to ingest anything (food or drinks).

I am a health "rebel", meaning that I do not subscribe to what we have been taught is health, nor do I have the common misconceptions of our capabilities applied in my own research/ testing/ experimentation. If I had these beliefs, I would not be where I am at health wise today. "Food pyramids", NUTrition, "you need meat for protein", all of it, I reject and have proven is invalid for me, through my own experiments. I also trust that I am NOT special, as ALL are capable of much more than we know, or are told are our limits!

I write articles, have a book in the works, coach people to health (with results to show), am active on social media and in the public, and as many have stated, fearless to express all truths I discover, regardless. I created this page so I could start to shed some of my "other" consulting duties and start to really do what I love, full-time, which is to be a catalyst for the empowerment, evolution, and happiness of my brothers and sisters!"

72 hours is barely the minimum to fast. :)
Keep scaling bro!

I did one for 24 hours and felt like I was dying. I just wanted to eat one cookie. It could have been made out of grass and dirt. It didn't matter. I keep telling myself I want to do another one. Have not been happening.
