The last few years have been challenging, and over the previous few years, I kind of left my health go. There is no excuse for it, and I thought the best way to get back in shape (I have been doing well for four months) is to do another cleanse. This one is for six days, and I did one in June, so I am looking forward to seeing the positive results. Lastly, I guess I am sharing this as BHW is my family, and not only do I like to participate in the forum, but also maybe it can inspire others to want to get into better shape for themselves.

P.S I am doing intermittent fasting, and it has been working well with just having one meal a day but adding the cleanse I think will help me focus too. I included some pictures, but in no way am I affiliated with the product.

Just curious, why are you doing a cleanse instead of just eating in a caloric deficit including fruits and veggies to drop some bodyfat?

These 'juice' companies are insanely overpriced and you can achieve the same stuff through a proper diet.

No hate, just some advice. Good luck on bettering yourself mate ;)

Well, he/she probably is with the intermittent fasting. The cleanse won't be for bodyfat.

I understand, and IF definitely works because it will probably, depending on how many calories he eats in the small timeframe, keep him in a caloric deficit. But I don't recommend these juice companies since you can literally buy a blender with the money of 8 of those drinks and blend stuff up yourself. I do this daily, it saves a lot of money and you can add great stuff such as flaxseed.

I love that you are going back to it, but I also love what you said here because I feel the same way.
Feeling BHW as my 2nd family!

Anyway, this has inspired me to move my ass for real this time!

I was a semi-professional basketball player for many years and in general, I love sports more than anything and I have always been in training and working on myself but, in the last couple of years, especially since I got a child I'm not moving that much.

There is always "something" that distracts me from training, but these are just excuses because these little problems are an integral part of our lives and will always be there.

Thank you for this, little things/words do so much good.

100% I agree. Buying the juices isn't worth it compared to a blender and frozen/fresh fruit + you can customise it and know exactly what's going in.

Thank you all for commenting; I have changed the way I eat as I have one salad a day as my meal and occasionally some grilled salmon with broccoli. I have to start exercising, and that would be helpful to my overall mental health and physical health.

Frozen stuff is amazing. My freezer is full of frozen stuff, spinach, brocolli, carrots, berries, everything. It saves so much money, while it contains the same amount of vitamins and minerals as fresh food.

Hey mate, that's awesome.
Have you thought about ketogenic diet?
Yeah, I think that could work well as I have had friends on it, and they are doing well. I hate to call anything a diet as its a lifestyle change is how I look at it. I do have some shakes, and I do use a blender sometimes to make a smoothie occasionally. If I can eliminate sugar from my diet, I would be in excellent health but just taking one step at a time.

Why do you need to cleanse if I may ask? What toxins you are taking? I am eating everything. I do HIIT runs for 1/2 hr 3 days a week and I am doing just fine. HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) - Google it.
Theres no replacement for running. Running puts your body in fat burning mode for 48 hrs. So you are working out even when you are sleeping.

I will give HIIT a try as I never heard of it before. Thanks for the info @Magmaspace and also thanks to everyone that commented as well. I hope you all stay healthy and GB.

(Not trolling)

So how do you convert those things into something you can eat? Do you cook and freeze weekly? Or cook daily?

You can boil them frozen in water. They will be delicious. I put them in my blender too, they become very smooth

Great decision to get healthy bro :) all the best!

however become a smoothie maker and you would not need to purchase these drinks and have the satisfaction of eating healthy and fresh in your home.
