Handmade link to each niche article?

Hey

My question is that I have a niche blog, and I found 100+ websites 40+ 60dr+ that has blog post with comment option with your website, allowing to create backlink.

Is it a good idea to backlink article to article? and by that I mean that I comment with my blog post link under their blogpost, but the link is not for my root domain, and its not their root to, so its basically "article to article" link.

Also, is it a good idea to link from these open comment "guest book" type comments? Because I checked these high DA domains and a post of theirs too, and it has 0-10 spam score, while having 10k+ comments with 10k+ outgoing links in the comments.

What does this mean regarding my post? My content is already good, I asked about link building with open comment sites, on the way I described it.

I would probably make a couple (max 5-6) links from the least spammy domains and not more. But that's me I like to keep it safe.

5-6 links to the whole domain? or /article?

I got .edu and .gov pages to link from too, are those different? like if a .com has 20k comments on blog post or if a .edu or .gov has 20k comment links, moz show 1-3 spam score for both, so no difference there.

Your brain. Think about this: You get some spammy links, your site does well, the algorithm doesn't seem to mind the spammy links. Then somehow you are marked for manual review.
--> So always think about this: if your job was to conduct the manual review, what would you think? If you think it looks spammy, then it looks spammy.

Of course, only a small portion of the web ever gets flagged for a manual review, so who knows.

My website isn't in English, usually I go with eastern and middle European languages, like Serbian and German, I don't know if there is even a manual review for those languages.

But I can't really imagine how link building could not be spam 90% of the times.

Like if its not a guest post/article its "spam" anyway, because adding a simple link to anywhere without proper content isn't "natural"


At the same time, creating forum profiles with link to the site, is that spam? Hard to define what's spam and what's not.

But I do agree that there is no way a 20k+ comment blog post isn't spammy

It's not a bad idea, you could give it a short but don't expect all the link juice in the world because comment links are no as powerful as they used to. But it won't hurt.
