Alright, clickbait title, sorry guys
My question is about trademark and general risks related to registering domain names with "common words":
For example,
Can I create a french website with a very general domain name (niche + "common word") like cookmaster.fr, dogmaster.fr, travelpro.fr, woodguide.fr etc...?
I know that I technically can, but can I run into trademark problems or similar ones?
Looking on WIPO i find this for : 60k results for the words "cook master" around the world. I was expecting this since "cook master" is not a very original name.
Also there is website called https://cook-master.com.ar/ in the SERP for "cook master"
I would really like to understand how you guys take decisions with your domain names.
I imagine for example that you, @Nargil , working a lot with expired domains, come accross a multitude of this cases.
(PS i know you are not layers, but I would still like to know your opinions)
Thanks guys
