I'd never deal with suspect looking accounts, such as a 2017 account who has posted all 80+ posts in less than 1 week. EG;

On 87 messages already , but this is how scammers operate, as soon as they know they were Shitlisted, they vanish from here, wait a short while the come back under a different name. I am NOT saying this is the case here, but why a 5 1/2 year old account suddenly comes active, alarm bells should be riinging.

I've found multiple listings online for this sort of thing & traced it back to the member & alerted the mods.

I've even had multuple conversations with people selling to out their accounts.

Fuck people that scam.

So, what then is your point, that it shouldn't be implemented just because it requires effort? Is there anything in the world that is worth the time and money that doesn't require effort? And how difficult could it possibly be for the biggest Internet marketing forum? What about the extra business it will bring in due to buyers having more faith in the marketplace. Services on BHW are cheaper than other SEO marketplaces so more trust means more buyers. This is why people trust Fiverr and SEOClerks. They know they can't be scammed.

It's a simple choice, nevertheless. Put in the effort and set up the escrow system or continue letting your members get scammed.

It's a process and takes man power/time to manage. Things take time to implement & maintain. Nothing is just "oh, push the escrow button".

It's the exact same guy, not the user who sold the account, after threatening as @PHPInjected pointed earlier, he is back, unbelievable

It is hard to help without legit proof so sometimes we are slow to do that.

Thetraveller contacted me once I set up the paypal dispute after viewing this shitlist here. He says that he will refund the money, so I hope it goes through. I also still want the service that he says that he can provide, but I'll only go ahead once 1) I get the cash back, 2) once everyone also in this shitlist gets their cash back.

You need to calm down. I'm not even talking about the specific guy you're talking about. I was referring to how it is in general.

As for why a user wouldn't fill out a report beforehand, not everyone with a compromised account notices this right away. I don't normally like getting into specifics because I don't want to give anyone ideas, but there have been cases where an account gets compromised and the original owner doesn't notice because the person who compromised the account deletes any messages they send out after directing a user off the forum. It's one example, but the point is that we have many variables we need to consider; each case is unique and is treated as such.

Again, this is not about the specific user you're talking about; I'm not involved in this case. However, I did feel it was necessary to explain our usual course of action as we get a lot of "apparently, this type of thing happens" and "I heard from my friend who was banned" statements. I don't believe @Ndiqi meant any harm, which is why I undeleted his post, but I do need to correct those comments when I see them as part of my role here as an administrator.

@Jerk55, the laugh reaction isn't meant to be used sarcastically; although I can't say I expected anything else considering jerk is in your username.
