When do you think AI will replace human Copywriters?

More like 3.5

I don't think so.
Nothing can beat human-written content, i can spot articles written by AI very fast.
Using AI as a writting assistant while you are writting your content, it is undoubtly cheaper and faster than outsourcing the content.
For informative content i outsource, for affiliate content i write it myself with the help of AI.

Oh Nice. AI is best as a assistant. You said very Well, Mate.

AI are created to assist our writing work not to do all the work. Therefore, it can't replace it because breaking human Inertia needs human handwork.

Just narrating above what I experienced with AI from quillbot.
Quillbot is more of a rewriter or paraphraser as you said, so basically it is not the same as an AI writting assistant such as Jasper or Rytr.

I will try out Jasper after launch of GPT-5

If you are talking tier 2 copy, it can already do so.

But I have never read any ai that can write persuasive long form sales copy.

GPT-4 is rumored to have 100 Trillion Parameters up from the 175 Billion of GPT-3. GPT-4 fine tuned content would probably be hard if not impossible to tell from a human writer.

Tools like Jasper are already being used by big corporates to generate copies for mass campaigns. It also has some cool functionalities to write basic blog posts to fill your business blog with for better SEO (mind you, some is very plagiarism heavy and would need some editing). However, for these tools to surpass in skill against copywriters who know how to tap into human emotion and push leads over the edge to press that mythical "buy" button, it's probably going to be a long while.

Probably Never! - You'll always require a human touch. It can serve as an assistant, but can not replace a solid copywriter who can trigger your emotions / decisions in buying a product.
