Yes you can, for UK you don't need to verify ID when opening company. But you need documents to verify Stripe and it's very hard to bypass it.can you open a stealth ltd?
So Stripe say's it's not available in my country... Any ways to still legally get registered there and stuff? I'm sick and tired of GayPal
Whats ein? Well i plan to sell few ebooks, i am currently selling games (Steam keys), what do you mean by high risk products?
Can that be done online? Is there a tutorial online? (and as pound you mean like 30$ or so since here in serbia pound is a slang for thousand xD)
Thank you guys for helping me!
Great, thanks! Do i have to pay british taxes as well if i set up my british company there for stripe? :O
I seen your paypal thread brother, i hope everything works for us both we are going to make it![]()
Ah shit that's so sad, do you maybe know how big uk taxes are for selling online for outsiders? But what do i even get from oaying uk tax when im not uk resident
just create bussines account from uk get register company in uk
Cam you explain more, do i have to sent my utility's bills or i can just send my id/passport with my selfie? No, you have to verify adress and all stuff with ID
What is atlas programApply for Stripe Atlas program? Or get a stealth account
Yes as much as i knowIs stripe safe to use

I didn't scold anybody, probably just my bad english. I will probably register company via online somewhere, they say it's not breaking TOS if i do it like that since stripe is available in uk so if i register company there it shouldn't be a problemIf its not available then how the hell would there be a way to get it legally, I mean come on dude you answered your own question. Whichever way you do it something will be untrue so there is technically no way to legally do it. However that said breaking the law and breaking a policy are two totally different things so you may be able to find a work around which is a gray area but not illegal.
An EIN is a employer identification number. it is a number you pay your taxes under if not using your personal SS number. Hi risk products would be selling game keys if you're not supposed to be. As in products that will get your payment account suspended, hence high risk. They are referring to Pound Sterling GBP
So you're wondering if you open a British company would you have to pay tax...duh, yeah you will have to pay tax if you are claiming your company is in the UK and earning profits.
The tax rate would depend on the amount you earn. I have not been there for so long I don't know what the thresholds are anymore but it was around 22% up to a certain amount and then anything over that was taxed at 40% but like I say that was 15 years ago. What you get for your money is the fact you were able to set up a company there you tit! You're getting the ability to sell products and earn money! If you don't want to pay, you don't get to play.
Careful, someone already suggested that and the OP scolded them lol, I guess he didn't get what they were suggesting to him.

Well unfortunately we don't have our home address on our id cards but we do have them on passports... Can you tell me with which company did you go? I see a lot of ads and online companies doing this stuff... Also, what are opening and scanning letters? How much is their accounting? Do you know what percentage of profits taxes take? Thank you a lot for your help and information I really appreciate it! God bless you!You need both. But it may be enough to send ID if it has the adress on it. We in germany have it on the backside.
If you use a passport, you need to send bills and such. This is because the papers will be send to the company House in UK, which is an official constitution.
They check adress and such. For comoany adress, 1st formations provide a adress. They also have a cheap service for opening and scanning letters.
And they can even do accounting pretty cheap. Because you will have to do that. If you send it late, it will be very expensive. You have to send your statements on time. If you pay taxes late, you will have to pay a fine, which isnt cheaper...
Im not using stripe.... A limited company in germany (gmbh) costs 25.000€!Well unfortunately we don't have our home address on our id cards but we do have them on passports... By the way, isn't stripe available in Germany? Why'd you create a company in the UK?
Thank you a lot for your information mate I really appreciate it! You really helped me a lot! Yeah, I see why you r not registering in Germany, in Serbia it's 500-1000 plus shit taxes and on top of that a lot of stuff isn't available here. I am also working on Fiverr same as you, if you have discord could I add you?Im not using stripe.... A limited company in germany (gmbh) costs 25.000€!
You can find all infos on their website. https://www.1stformations.co.uk
Opening and scanning letters: If you get a letter to the company adress in UK, they will open it and scan it and send you a mail with a pdf. You are required to register it on a UK adress (which they provide).
They have a lot of services that may be helpful later.
Taxes are 19% for the company profit. But i tell you: dont make profit. Buy shit for the company, invest, and cash out carefully.
You can deduct pens, paper, pc, table, chair, rent for a office, buy stuff to sell later... Just deduct as much as possible.
Also checkout the Laws for an UK Ltd., you should know that you cant just take money out and need to make yourself a contract with a salary. You can deduct this from profits too.
If you want to cashout some amount once, there is another tax. But you can check that on the website above.
Does not Stripe offer their 500.00 package with a company formation and a bank account in the US anymore?
That seems to be what would solve your dilemma.
What is needed to set up your Stripe account:
- A description of your product
- Your business type (sole proprietor, LLC, Corporation, individual, etc)
- Employer ID Number or Tax ID or Social Security Number
- Business address
- Your website address http://
- Your person details such as name, date of birth and Social Security Number
- Business name as it should appear on your customer's credit card statement. This is important to reduce chargebacks.
- Phone number
- Bank details such as routing number and checking account number
- An email address for the account
- An account password
didn't know about this! does this require you to keep charging via stripe or can you move billing to Zelle once your year of free fees is over?Does not Stripe offer their 500.00 package with a company formation and a bank account in the US anymore?

can you tell me where i can set up a UK business like you suggest? You can get Stripe Business even if you live in non-supported country. You can simply start a company in UK by just paying formation fee (around 30 pound) and apply to Stripe for business account.
you can do that with rapidformationcan you tell me where i can set up a UK business like you suggest?
Kindly guide on opening an Estonia company. Is there any company like 1stformation that offer the service. Can confirm that this is what they want, opened a Stripe account earlier this year for an LLC.
@sscaz if you want lower taxes, set up an Estonian company. Stripe accepts them too.
Yeah there's a couple of them. I got recommended Companio from a guy who sells on Amazon - they had better options for banking than the competition but that was a few years back, it might have changed.Kindly guide on opening an Estonia company. Is there any company like 1stformation that offer the service.
Since you said you presently sell steam keys for games, you need to run that by stripe customer care to know if it is not against their terms of use. It will be a huge waste of time, money and effort if at the end of the day the account is banned as a result of going against stripe's terms of use.Whats ein?
