An Affiliate Site or Adsense?

There's no doubt that depending on what niche you go into both have proven to be profitable. But for an SEO who wants to set up a site for income in 2022, which would you choose?

I would choose adsense as I think its easier for beginners like me to start with that. And that's is what I have experience with, I'm not that into affiliate, yet

yeah, I've had some decent experience with ads myself in the past and you don't have to rely on anyone converting. Recently I've seen a lot of opportunities in affiliate sites and micro niches so might be interesting to experiment.

I'm experimenting out with a few links here and there, but nothing biggie yet, still in the start phase here

I've always made from Adsense in the past (not a lot but enough to cut certain expenses). Been looking to go into AM recently, seems like it's just finding a suitable niche.

No. But nowadays an affiliate site looks just like an info site.

I don't want to depend on only one because there have been ups and downs with both of these.

If I have to choose between the two, I will go with Affiliate.

So I know that I can make more money with Affiliates than with Adsense.

It takes lot of efforts to add affiliate products, links, content into your site and promote it. Whereas Google ads are just like a plug and play. But as you know, if there are more efforts the reward is higher.

Yeah, think that's why I went for Adsense before as it's not so much reliant on selling something but getting traffic which I know I can do. I've progressed in general marketing recently though, so I thought I could hopefully combine the two and try out an affiliate project.

If you are generating good amount of traffic, then I suggest you allot all the available ad spots to affiliate products. The commission you will earn from it will be always higher than the ad revenue you will earn if those spots are allocated to Google ads.

Yes, many writers write product reviews for the sake of inserting affiliate links only.

One should always focus on writing content to help readers understand the product better. It is less significant that you use the product yourself because it is not possible in many cases. But at least you can craft the article in such a way that it should portray as if you have actually used it and now you are sharing an honest review of it. Try to provide as much information possible that will help the end user.

Really? Ive been told a lot about these alternative ad sites like mediavine but never really checked them out as I've been scared to switch in case earnings go down. I'll have a look into Ezoic though thanks.
