I want to quit smoking cigarettes, I want to make journey of it here to motivate myself and also others, if it's against rules, please moderator delete this thread.

So, what I got:

Health problems: Breathing, skin, teeth, sex, walking, running, swimming and etc...
Mental problems: Depression, no self love, no motivation.

I will update this thread with my progress, it's all psychology and of course nicotine addiction.

Wish me luck, will be great if I also motivate others and will get rid of this awful addiction.

Good luck. If you’re not working out already, try incorporating that into your daily routine. Nothing like feeling breathless on the treadmill to remind you of what smoking does.

I haven’t touched a single cancer stick in about a month. You can do the same. :)
This

and try a low carb diet with some fasting (long ones preferred) here and there. It made the difference for me.

Thanks for motivation guys,

I know it's easy, it's just addiction of nicotine, which is not that hard to get rid of, hardest one is a habit, smoking for 14 years, doing everything with cigarette triggers it again and again, like waking up, watching TV, drinking coffee, my mind is used to smoke every time, that's just it,

I have began working out like 5 days already.

Wish me luck.

If you can afford 3-4 days of not working, that's going to help a lot.
You can sleep your way into the withdrawal stage.

I've done it once, it lasts 4 days tops.
Sadly, got back at it after 2 years.

I don't want to look at this like climbing on an Everest.

I will continue everyday life, and want my mind to get used to it like it's normal and better without cigarette.

Hi. Same spot here.
Family of smokers, smoked cigarettes since I was 13. 4 years later I was already feeling the side effects of this shitty disease. Breathing problems (asthma), working out seemed harder and running was a no-go.
This year, at 17, after numerous failed attempts to quit, I decided to just switch to vaping. What's been working with me is lowering my dose of nicotine each month. Started vaping my juice at 16 mg, now I'm just at 3mg of nic.
Next month I'll go to two, and by december I should be nicotine free. By that point, I won't have any withdrawal symptoms and I'll quit.
That's just my plan though. These are just my two cents and what's been working for me.
I'm sure that if you have the right mindset and you really want to quit, you'll be able to go cold turkey in no problems.
Best of luck, will follow this journey!

I was a smoker for 14 years,

First tried it 1 year ago, lasted only 1 week,

This year this is 3rd attempt, but each time I was stronger and stronger, and now, I feel I smoked my last one 1 hour ago.

Thank you and wish you good luck too, but it's not only a nicotine addiction, it's just 20% of smoking, worst thing is mind, which is used to smoke in many occasion.

Before quitting try not to smoke when you want, like after dinner, or with coffee, to work out your mind.

I am also doing it, I do regular exercise at night, and I am now much better than those days I did smoking regularly; now I do smoke 2-3 times, But soon I will stop it forever! It's really hard though

rooting for you man!
go cold turkey also i would like to suggest Allen carr's easy way to quit smoking many of my friends read this when they were trying to quit smoking. hope it helps.
GL.

I used to live with smokers. It's almost as bad or even worse even when you don't actually smoke but inhale it because you have to. It's so much better when there's clean air around you. Hope you get there soon, ya'll!

Good luck mate. But in all honesty, all you need it will power. Cut your smoking at once and that's it.
I, myself stopped smoking just like that about a month or two ago.

Well i know how it feels ,smoking addiction its bad and i hope you will succed to defeat it
