Thoughts On Negative SEO? What Do You Think?

Hello, i am just curious if any of you have ever experienced, or been the person doing negative seo? What is it exactly? Obv it hurts someones seo essentially, harmful links, etc. But has anyone ever done it, intentionally? Or have you ever had it done to you?

Has anyone ever used bots to click on your ads? Or send you bad traffic or created harmful links for you? Have you done anything like this, or what can you share with me? I am just curious is all. Trying to learn.

I think Google will simple not give any value to negative seo.

Otherwise everyone can just destroy their competitors by sending fake links or bot traffic.

Google Algos can easily detect bot clicks.

Negative SEO!

First of all, i am answering this question because i have done it for more then 5 websites.

How?

I will say that negative SEO is not that easy and not that hard kinda SEO because all you to do is just oppose your thinking.

For example, if you do a particular thing to rank a website higher on the Google, so you will have to think that what opposite thing you will do to derank the same website?

People always say its not working and that google will ignore it.

I never believed that, because if i get cheap fiverr links, my ranking goes trash can.

But i think same would happen to others unless they remove the links in the console.

I also doubt all use the console.

Same gos for bot clicks. Of course google can detect them. But will google ban the sites account or believe the owners? I guess it depends on the size of the site. Smaller Websites dont stay much chance imo...

Sure, Negative SEO is unethical. But i think it does work to some degree.

Can you save your ass if someone send you negative seo? Yes of course. Prevent Bots by using cloudflare, delete bad links etc.

it is two edge, either it help you rank out, or will hurt the rank

but about the negative seo, i dont think it will give you instant result
as by the time you trying to bring down the rank, their side also try to rank up

Learn machine learning, programming, content marketing, content writing. Some of these will serve you better. You can utilize both language and math skills in these fields.

That's why Google had to adjust its algo to ignore negative or abnormal changes in the link profile.

In a more serious tone, I don't think blasting your competitor with tons of backlinks with "hacklink", "animal porn" anchors is gonna work in 2022. The biggest players in my niche constantly practice this, and the top 3 pages have a crap ton of such backlinks. But you know, google simply ignores such links.
