Adwords/Clickbank Journal - Kindof.

Read a lot of post's knocking Adwords as an advertising tool for affiliate products, but I have had some pretty good results in my first week or so, so I've decided to make a sort of journal which will be updated everyday with my progress. The sole affiliate company I am using is Clickbank, and I'm promoting two products in the same niche using 4 adverts and roughly 10 keywords overall.

Any questions/comments/suggestions are more than welcome - I'm still learning too!

I have some questions to ask:
1. You wrote "two products in the same niche ". Do you promote them on same keywords from different AW acc ?
2. Do you use some kind of tracking for your campaigns ?
3. And last question - do you use direct linking or custom landing page ?

no clue why but ah well..

Im promoting the keywords in split tests every day:

So one day il use half the keywords for one url and the other half for the other, and then swap them over the next day.

Im using the conversion report in adwords, i set it up in clickbank, and im using custom landing pages for both urls.

Feb 10:

Adwords: Clicks: 25 Money Spent $4.69

Clickbank: Hops: 6 Sales:0 Money Made: $0.00

Nice! May I ask, in what niche is the product you are promoting and did you use some sort of tutorial on writing your landing page? If you did, can you please share. I have been trying to get this Adwords things right for quite a while now and I am still not there yet...

First of all this helps you increase QS and you got smaller cpc. Second - you do not need to compete with other people who does direct linking. Plus you get full control of your landing page and can test many variations of it to determine which converts better
