Do you use an antivirus in your computer?

I don't think so antivirus is still working. You have to careful

I use Kaspersky Internet Security. The price is really cheap for keeping my online wallets safe.

Well i use it in the past but i find that it makes my pc slower and harder ,now i dont use any antivirus

I don't. It's been years since I've used one.
Do you deactivate Windows Antivirus?

I don't really care that much, still it slows down sometimes the machine and it's easily noticeable when it starts scanning when I have a ton of things opened at the same time, CPU skyrockets to 100%.

Sometimes I feel tempted to remove it as well.

According to your nickname, I feel it's worth doing it, if you are really so :)

If you are depending in something/someone else to keep your keys, that's bad news

I always deactivate windows defender, it just uses the cpu unnecessarily by checking all files I open/use lol.

Yup, it's worth it. It's like an extra boost if you have a low-end cpu :)

just windows defender
virustotal.io for scanning sketchy zip files
adblock on all times
malwarebytes i do a scan every few months just to reaffirm im safe
virus, malware usually comes from downloading stuff you probably shouldnt eg crack/hack tools

no i don't not because of that i don't trust them because it's paid :smirk:

It's a necessity... Just because you don't "feel" you have malware in your PC, it doesn't mean you don't have. :)

You could be part of a botnet or maybe the hacker is just lurking inside.

The program shouldn't affect the performance by alot unless you're running scans while you're working.

Look like you never been through any malware or virus problem. It’s the same as your face which you dont know how dirty it is until you wash it. Good luck with your data on a non-security computer. Maybe it worthless so you dont care. That’s good news :)

Windows defender and I run hitman pro each 2 months or so.

Nothing more then the built-in Windows Defender, what you download is more important in preventive actions then some add-on antivirus software. Atleast that is my experience in computers since almost 28 years of building and owning computers.

@crystalwiz What was the funny part? Did I spell something wrong?
