yeah they rejected me for low value content. With the help of ezoic team i made some changes (search bars on menu and sidebar) and reapplied. Denied again.
Now, always from suggestion from ezoic team, I will add 5 articles to a category that only has 3 articles in it. They think that maybe it could be that.
This is really not encouraging.

As far as I know, the 3 articles in a category triggers the Site Navigation issue. But of course, nobody knows for sure. Everyone is just guessing. You could try adding 20-30 additional articles and reapplying after a while.

1/ Ezoic EPMV was $90 on average compared to my $130 average
2/ I used to have 100% good page experience on GSC, it went to 0%!
3/ Lots of errors started popping up on GSC (especially for AMP pages)


Don't use Ezoic. Just don't. It took me months to recover from the damages they had done.

What I would try is to cloak your site so that google doesn't get to see the ezoic ads or code at all and it only sees your site WITHOUT ads

That could help in rankings as well

Won't work, Lighouse lab data is not a ranking factor. Field data (Core Web Vitals) from real users which are visible in Pagespeed Insights or a CrUX dashboard is what Google looks at, so cloaking will not help ranking.

I have had nothing but trouble from ezoic and the way they sell themselves vs the reality of the support is insane. Not sure if the owners are deluded but the support is terrible and they are rude

Actually, it does help. Check out cloaked spam blogs. They rank and users get redirected to a landing page or money site

Integrating with Ezoic through the plugin may slow down your site because the more plugins you have, the more your site will be bogged down. It'll be much faster if you integrate via Cloudflare or nameservers. Then use Leap, but you need also to disable plugins incompatible with Leap (hey have a list of those plugins in the knowledge based) because they may negatively impact functionality/speed.. You can always reach out to support for help.

Lol, at least your Ezoic support is somewhat helping you, mine is just "We don't know", "We can't help" etc...

I have tried applying my site directly to the google Ad manager, ended up having Action required status and some rules violation. There is a link fix some issues but I cannot access it as it requires acc & password to login.corp.google.com which I don't have.

In Ezoic I've got this reason for denial: Multiple site disapprovals. Now I don't know what to do.

I don't know how people pas this bullshit, it's so discouraging!

Just reach out to Ezoic support, they have a good relationship with Google and can help you manually resubmit your site for another review. I've seen from other sources domains are rejected these days and Ezoic helped out to have them approved.

RECAP for anyone interested

the site got approved: I added more articles to the category that had only a few (may just be a coincidence).

Ezoic is now live on my site but I still have to set it up fully. I still need to:

1. connect ezoic with adsense - https://support.ezoic.com/kb/article/google-adsense-and-the-mediation-app?lang=it
2. activate the mediation - https://www.ezoic.com/ad-mediation/
3. change the position of the ads (now they are a mess)

I'm not sure what these thing do precisely but i guess these make possible for adsense advertisers to advertise on my site (1) and to chose which ads to show (2)

In the meantime I activated LEAP since the page speed sucks (a lot). I waited the 15 min required to fully activate LEAP (according to them) and the speed is still very low.


My ezoic support assistant in on vacation and maybe I should wait for her. before doing the adsense connection and mediation.
To be fair with ezoic this particular assistant has been really helpful and a pleasure to interact with her.

Possible there are plugins that needed to be disabled because they conflict with Leap...

Ezoic recommends to turn Mediation. Ad networks set up in mediation will compete with Ezoic’s own ad partners for the advertising inventory on your website. This guarantees you the best paying ads.

Ezoic system tests thousands of ad combinations, over time the system becomes wise to each user's preferences from the data collected and adapts ad combinations accordingly. But you're in control, and you can always limit the number of ads displayed

Keep us posted, its great to have an onboarding asst./success manager help out!

I had optimized my site beforehand so my page speed was 100 on both mobile and desktop.
And after adding Ezoic? Well have a look at this shocking number:


Maybe I've done something wrong as it's my first time having a website monetized and setting up ads, but I followed everything step by step as per their guide, and I also enabled LEAP with all suggested settings.

I was using generatepress pro + litespeed cache + perfmatters before Ezoic, but I had to deactive litespeed because they say it's not compatible. And I also opted for Cloudflare DNS when integrating instead of Ezoic nameservers.

But should it really go from 100 to 23? That's crazy.

I think I will try to add WP Rocket now, since I read a blog saying it should work with Ezoic even though they don't recommend using any other caching plugin.

At the same time as I added the above-mentioned site to Ezoic, I had another site I was also gonna monetize with ads. So I decided to add that one to Adsense to see if the page speeds and payouts will be any different. The other site also had 100 page speed both on mobile and desktop before integrating Adsense. Now it has:

im at 52 speed using perfmatters (they give it away 4 free here in a thread), still a bad speed, I know.
Also the ernings are not that great, very similar to adsense

I tried using Ezoic about a year ago, hoped to boost my 20$/month (10k pageviews/month) to better revenue. I didn't get what I hoped, my CWV dropped a lot, and traffic started to go down 50%.



I immediately switched back to Adsense and focused on my articles.

Now I earn 100$+ and keep increasing month by month (60k pageviews/month with US visitor only 13%).
