Some of the new features seem nice. I like that they are working more on full site editing.
Also, avatar/author profile is good - one plugin less.

"Post title will be used as ALT text for featured images if no other ALT text is provided."
My stupid theme doesn't add alt text to featured images even when I manually put it, if this solves that issue it's also a welcome one.

It seems exciting; the way there are creating WordPress is insane. Somewhere I read an article by Yoast about WordPress market share going down, but if we such updates in the coming days, it will go higher, so at least for me, recent updates are excellent.

Welcome, welcome, little 6!
I just installed on a test site, and it is awesome. By far, I like that export template option. A lot of work involved, so kudos to the devs.

anybody in the know, do we get some performance gains? tbh I get all I need design-wise from oxygen so I am not particularly excited haha. but if it makes my stuff go a little faster, that's always appreciated.

Do you think there’s a good enough range of working block editor themes now?

Honestly, I was the first to be upset about Gutenberg.

Since I am using GeneratePress & GenerateBlocks, now I am understanding their philosophy. We are still in the infancy compared to Elementor and so, but it evolves so quickly.

This is *so* powerful. Wordpress made a nice bet, this will pay. Congrats to the team who pushed Gutenberg against all people.

"This release includes several updates focused on improving the performance of WordPress. These enhancements cover a range of performance areas including improving the page and post-load speed, reducing the execution time of various query types, caching, navigation menus, and much more. The performance team working group is an important focus area of the core development team."
