Hello everybody,

My question is, for 1 4G Proxy, who can rotate manually every five minutes.

Whats the amount of different IP, i know its a weird question but are they a number limit of different IP for 4G Proxy? Or are they "unlimited" or always different?

(Sorry for my english btw)
 
That depends on your proxy provider and on the local ISP. Some proxy providers do "fake" rotations, which means the majority of their modems are connected for 7-10 hours and they only switch around customers between those modems. If your proxy is down for at least 5-30 seconds, it is probably a real rotation, depending on their proxy software (hot config reload).

Regarding the local ISP, some have a million IPs, some have 100.000 IPS, and others just 5000. The best would be is to write down your IPs and then check the ASN records for those IP ranges.

Ok ok, i currently don't have a 4G Proxy but i'm gonna buy one in the next days. As soon as i get one i'll write down the IP's.

My question was not really for setting interval rotation, it was more to know how much IPs can be a single 4G proxy like the "pool" of IPs that can be use. But it's a weird question.

rotate through and at what rate b4 you buy, thats all you can do

Good point. However some 4g proxy providers (me personally at least had an idea for own farms) do proper immediate rotation

- keep a clean pool of 4g modems (freshly rotated, not yet assigned to anybody after rotation)
- when a customer requests rotation, immediately switch him to a clean modem from the pool
- rotate his old modem and put it into the clean pool.

P,S, Even with clean proper rotation, if the farm is not on move, a set of celltowers is quite limited (e.g. less than 6) where modems can get an IP from. So sooner or later, the modems will be getting non-unique IP's.

I think the point of 4g proxies is Google/Facebook/etc knows this and can't righfully ban someone without risking banning tons of legit users as well.

Regarding this proxy question. I've heard you should only keep 5-10 profiles per usb dongle? This is confusing to me since aren't the dongles only supplying the proxies, thus where's the potential fingerprint leak having tons of profiles per usb dongle as long as the IPs are rotating?

Our farm has around 4000 LTE modems. Most individual providers do not operate such "big" numbers, which is why they normally do not keep "clean" connections. For example, many US mobile IP providers use wifi and not really LTE, so they end up in a different IP pool. Might show as mobile in IP databases, but I think Instagram is well aware of who is using those since almost no real legit users are on those (which is the whole point of mobile IPs, to begin with). But in general, yeah, totally agree with you.

Since there are so many resellers, it is hard to judge if the price point reflects a good quality product, or just resellers wanting a higher margin. And the quality differences between WIFI mobile IP ranges and LTE mobile IP ranges are huge. But WIFI IP ranges are easier to acquire (business connections) and more scaleable (without investing a lot of money). If you compare it to our LTE farms, we invested almost 150k$ just in modems (not counting cables, computers, UPS, etc.). It can get crazy really quick.

The recent batch that left the office and went to one of our apartments:

Oh wow, that’s very impressive!!

I guess the central question I have is whether or not self run 4g proxies give off any hardware footprint to Google?

As in, if one continuously rotates IPs for separate Multilogin profiles using a single 4g dongle/proxy (rotating at reasonable times of course), would google be able to detect that those profiles are all coming from the same dongle.
 
The number of IP addresses depends on the country, mobile operator, and on the tower to which SIM card connects.


Different towers in different cities and belonging to different mobile operators have different numbers of issued IP addresses (pool).


You can set ip changing every N minutes and write IP history to count the pool.

This would depend on your geographic location. Depending on how populated your city is, you will get a pool of IPs anywhere from 2,000 to 200,000 IPs. Sometimes less if you're in a rural area.

Is it better to target a specific ASN for a mobile proxy when having the option to do so to ensure trust with FB?

What about residential IPs? Would think they're less of a concern since they should already be a static IP to ensure trust with FB?

What is a good way to verify whether the assigned proxy IPs are truly mobile or just WiFi?

Also, if given the option of targeting an ASN for mobile proxies, will it be preferable to do to avoid being flagged for circumventing system?
