First blogging mistake with more than 500 content.

Hi fellas,

I'm sorry that my account is new but i am a regular here, majorly on the journey section, reading and bookmarking people's successful journey.

Please can you figure out the problem with my site/blog.

1. I created a blog site which is currently 6 month old. The site is DA 6.

2. I was targeting more than 6 niche, which I can easy write about. Since I am currently not working and I'd have hell of free time.

3. I have more than 500 contents right now overall, which some of the content are on Google using site:site_com to check.

4. I thought maybe by time, I will be receiving the juicy traffic and making hell of money. But till now it's hard to see even 3 clicks in a month talk less of juice from an orange.

5. I could write about "How to make spaghetti with blah blah" "How to please your teacher" "How to get the highest grade in school" I guess all my contents are either stupid or I am just not getting it right by writing garbage of 1500 words plus


After a while of learning and reading here people's journey. My question is below. Please honest answer, support or help to be able to make some cents


Since the content are so garbage which is not a copy paste but mine and written by my self.

1. Should I start over with the same domain and delete all the contents but focus on a particular niche and low keyword.

2. Should I just get a new domain name, is the 6 month old domain name is a waste already?

3. What is your suggestions from my write up, anything will be of great help.

Check out the rival sites and look at the number of words they have in their content.

Sometimes longform is better than 350 words.

Get your onpage cleaned up too. Check site speeds etc as well as the H1s, H2s, metas etc.

Why not keep at it? redirecting a DA6 isn't much use, but if it's not had a penalty get it revamped.

I will give you an example. Let's say that you wrote an article "How to please your teacher", but suppose, nobody is writing "how to please your teacher" in their google search bar. So if these keywords "How to please your teacher" lacks interest, nobody will search for that and consequently will not find your website.
Or, it is possible that people are searching for "How to please your teacher", and your website is in for example 20th page of google results page, because websites with bigger DA are shown first.
That's why you have to do a keyword research and find low competition keywords with decent monthly searches. And you should write articles based on that keywords.
You also should learn what is SEO and at least know some basics of it. Check/google it : SEO: The Complete Guide for Beginners - Ahrefs it will give you some SEO fundamentals.

Very few websites are considered authority on more than one niche. If you are not authority in search engine;s eyes, you do not rank.

You should stick to one.

If your keyword research is good, 350 words is more than enough to rank. I don’t know the specific keywords you’re targeting but they’re probably too competitive.

Keywords with no competition can rank with 0 content just based off the title.

I don’t recommend deleting the existing content. Do the keyword research again and repurpose the existing articles and optimise them for the new low competition keywords.

6 months is quite a bit of age to give up on. If you start over, you’ll have to wait more than 6 months in any case. Repurposing the existing content will get you results in 2-3 months.

Stupid topics do surprising well. People ask a lot of questions that we might think are stupid. But if they have search volume, they’re worth going after.

I wouldn’t say that it’s a very competitive keyword but all the results on page 1 are satisfying the search intent. IMO, it’s not a low competition keyword. You’ll need better content + links to rank.

To keep you informed, I am now having more than 4 clicks daily and more than 10 kind of click on Google analytics.

My question is this:

1. I have a post that rank on page 5 of Google and the image of the same post rank 1, like first image in the image section for the same keyword. How does that happen? Even beat healthline to that?

2. I have other websites that is 3 month but constantly on Google analytics, I am having more than 10 to 20 clicks. Because I could check the source and medium was always Google /Organic and some Direct.

The problem is that - Google is not indexing the domain main name like domainname-com but prefer to index the post from the site as the main domain name and the blogs.

I checked on GSC - Excluded ( Crawled - Currently not indexed )

Also I could not see any movement nor Clicks from the GSC... Always blank for the 3 month now but I could see what ever happens for that day on Google analytics.

What is your suggestions?

I think your articles are too thin yet you are in a competitive niche called multiniche. It would be hard to compete against Quora, Wikipedia etc as these are authority multi-niche platforms.
