Google is going down fast. The damage they did on the WWW, scraping everyone's contents and placing ads everywhere is finally catching up with them.

$931 million operating loss

Profits down 8%

Shares already down 17% in 2022 and more rout to come (today will be fun to watch, as results posted after market)

You are right, Facebook is good example. Ok it might be over for google search, but is it over for Alphabet? Likely not.

Google ain’t going no where. Don’t pay attention to the profit/loss they put down as its most likely false. When you are mega rich you run your business completely differently to let’s say just you or me.

for example Facebook (meta) took out a huge loan just so they didn’t have to pay taxes.

They had the exact cash flow in the bank but rather then use there own money they borrowed money and then just payed the loan back monthly. This way they only payed like 3% interest on there loan rather then 20% - 40% in taxes and they can keep reborrowing on the loan for as long as they like.

google is not making a loss (its basically impossible) they are just filing there paperwork so it looks like they are taking a loss

lastly actual google can’t really take a loss because the way they have set there company up. Sue them all you want you won’t get a dime and there assets defo won’t be with the company you sue.

we look at google like it’s one company and it’s not. There’s thousands of company’s and organisations that make up google.
