I have seen a lot throughout my entrepreneurial career, but this is even beyond my wildest dreams. Today, I woke up and noticed that a customer sent nearly $13k using BTC instead just $23. I'm using Coinbase Commerce.

What would you do in that situation? The customer has not messaged us yet. The transaction is confirmed since hours. We have processed his order (but it is only worth $23).

Be a good sport and message the dude. Make sure he's not laundering money to you, though. This could be some sketchy shit. 13K and he hasn't reached out yet? This looks hella suspicious. Contact him.

That was some real brainfckd morning to wake up on, I´d say as most above me, just refund the dude. Your better then anything else, depending on where you live that money could be a huge amount. I know your going to make your customer a very happy man.

If you really need that money to jumpstart something career or business wise, use it. If you wish to splurge it on luxuries, family etc. Then NO.

Just know you can make it in 2 weeks. Don't be the one who sees this type of money as something insane. It's a one month salary for many engineers and small company owners. The worst type of thing is to hype yourself up in this situation. Don't perceive it as a jackpot winning and you will hesitate less.
