You already know what the answer is. Pay it back.
Been there multiple times, in different (but similar) situations. I personally think you did the right thing, and I applaud you for that. After all, you're not gonna get rich with a few extra grand (that don't belong to you anyway), and you will keep your dignity intact (seems to be increasingly rare these days.).Just want to say that I have not even received a response (like a "thank you") from the customer after issuing the refund (>24h ago). I'm slightly disappointed.
(And the customer has received my email because she had already transferred the funds to another wallet afterward).
I normally do not like responding to such posts, but I think you have not understood the whole point of this thread. Btw, I have not asked, "what I should do". I also wanted to tell you a funny story, as I think such things don't occur often. And to hear how other people would react (but I know that at least 50% of the people praising "refund" would have not refunded). That's reality. The fact you had to ask us what you should do tells me everything i need to know about you bro
Your right, maybe i misread it. I assume in that case you refunded him before making the post, otherwise, your point is moot, But if you did I apologize!I normally do not like responding to such posts, but I think you have not understood the whole point of this thread. Words are useless, and it is very easy to write "refund it" or "I would refund it". I have been scammed several times myself, and most people are *NOT* humble. Actions are the things that matter.
Hey I am also want to start accepting crypto payments in my store but I see the Coinbase Commerce Woocomerce plugin is not working anymore. How is your setup done?Hey!
I have seen a lot throughout my entrepreneurial career, but this is even beyond my wildest dreams. Today, I woke up and noticed that a customer sent nearly $13k using BTC instead just $23. I'm using Coinbase Commerce.
What would you do in that situation? The customer has not messaged us yet. The transaction is confirmed since hours. We have processed his order (but it is only worth $23).
contact to the customer broHey!
