I'm doing it using ahrefs site audit (it is 100% free but limited)I want to do On page SEO for any website . What are the best way and tools to find out the on page recommendation and Suggestion
Thanks @Roger Marquez ! It's really very helpful to me .By doing this, you should have enough information on how to proceed and implement in order to fully optimize each of the pages on any particular site.
- Scrape your site using a tool like Screaming Frog in order to export all the URLs into a .csv/.xlsx file with the basic on-page metrics assessment like page titles, meta descriptions, H1, images alt tags, etc., regarding whether or not if they are missing, duplicate, too long, too short, etc,
- Categorize each page regarding its content type. For example Homepage, Blog post, Category Page, Product Category, Product Page, Local Lander, Lead Gen, etc.
- Gathered all the data from basic performance metrics for each of those URLs from both Google Analytics (GA) and Google Search Console (GSC) - This is in order to find the best/worse performance pages
- From GA, I would gather the Number of users and sessions, Average session duration, average pages per session, the ratio of new to returning visitors, bounce rate, organic vs. paid sessions
- From GSC, I would gather clicks, impressions, ctr, avg position, and links.
- Conduct keyword research for each of the pages and determine whether the keyword the page is optimized for is the best and most relevant one.
- Find related and relevant keywords to further optimized the content of each of the pages.
- Run a Google search for each of the main keywords YOU found for each of the pages on Google and gather the data from the top 3 results showing in the SERP regarding page type, number of links, and referring domains, DA and PA.
I hope this makes sense to you, all it takes is for you to do your part and do your own research to expand on this.
