can you rank without doing guest post?

For my newer blogs, I don't even bother with building links.

My sites still rank.

How?

Proper keyword selection and delivering on search intent.

I also make sure I publish enough content per blog.

I bought a few crappy link package that I regret (disvowed most of them). I'm pretty consistent with my content, but the two main things that helped me are reddit (which is a great type of link and source of traffic), and reviewing medium size companies. In the review process I ask them a lot of questions and hyping them about it, making them share my review on their social and sites.
Reddit link works for SEO also or is it just for direct traffic ?

I'm posting every new article to reddit for this initial boost. I think it helps with rankings, but there are too many variables to say if it helps at a 100% certainty. This is a 6 month old website, and all of my pages are indexed.

Are you trying to rank for informational intent or buyer intent articles? If it's info, you can pretty much find topics to rank for with no strong backlinks in most niches, but if it's buyer intent and has a decent search volume, you can forget about it if your niche is medium or high competition (most niches nowadays).

If your budget is tight, I suggest looking for long tails, underserved topics in your niche and building up topical authority. Sometimes when your site contains more topically related articles than your competition, you end up outranking them in many buyer intent keywords as well, despite having a weaker link profile.

With the right kind of budget these are the results some achieve within 1 year. Probably $200 x 1000 spent on press releases, guest posts, and niche edits.

I think its not about guest post. Its all about the following:

1. Site with good trust.
2. Site with good power.
3. Site with niche relevant.

People go with guest outreach because they can get those easily. If you can get the above using any backlink type except a few spammed platforms already, you are good to go.

i have 3 type of power that you mentioned , but problem is my niche is a little bit competitive , not big but a little bit , thats the problem

Yea seo its very stresful and you can work hard with no results .In my opinion i advise people to not focus all your eforts on it of making money .I would combine it with other meyhod like youtube videos ,facebook ,email list etc .Firstly its stresful and you get angry when you see no results and demotivates you to work hard .But if you get income from other source you are more relaxed and not so stresed that your website not rank

SEO game is changed alot
With only free links you cant rank a site
Even PBNS not working
Just use guest posts with good traffic mixed those links with natural free High DA PA links
Within 2 month i Ranked a site to 0 keywords to 1k+ keywords ranking, 0 Traffic to 10k Traffic month

Yes you can, for low search keywords but it's much easier with link building as part of your processes.

Yes you can rank a post in Google without Guest posts especially if your domain has high authority in that Niche

Blogging become real pain in the ass now a days. i don't found its comfortable anymore with even hard work, i picked a niche that has less competition, wrote 38 post (average 2000 words) just got some impression and few clicks. that does not motivate me anymore.

i checked my competitors links and found they have lot of paid links ( we usually call it guest post)

and the most painful is that people who create "write for us" page, so i contact them even they also ask for money. a links on quality blogs cost usually $200+

my question is , do you rank without doing guest post? or i need to invest money? then how do a start up blogger will survive?

Google is real clown >_<
You can still get decent search traffic for your new niche sites. Where you have to do the hard work is the KEYWORD RESEARCH part and that can be pretty much difficult because they are blogs out there already writing on the niche you're starting. You're left with curating content around 2-50 search volume keywords and when you have a bulk of that, it brings your decent and real human visitors.

I use keywords everywhere and Google autosuggest for my keyword research always. Ahrefs helps sometimes for keyword variations.

You can try this and thank me later.

i am trying some forum links , some profile etc , that does not brings me any push to be honest.. now a days SEO is all about invest a huge
Yes, SEO needs huge investments nowadays. Try running Ads to drive traffic, it is faster.

Yes you can, by bringing more traffic to your site by ads or else social media promotion or else if there is high authority of your selected page domain while choosing Niche.

that's the nice technique, but reddit links are no follow and does not brings any real value to SEO, so you more preferring social traffic than SEO traffic?
You shouldn't disregard quality nofollow links such as those from Reddit. Nofollow links are an important part of any link building campaign.

Yest it is possible to rank without guest post. You need to create web 2.0 sites and that point to your money site and boost these with send and third tier links. It is a slower process but it works. Guest post works much quicker and deliver immense power in a link.

Of course, you can rank with other type of links and sometimes even without backlinks. Depends on your project.

Guest posting works great, in 2 years I've built 800 RDs quality and without paying a single $.

The secret sauce is in outreach. If you outreach 100 prospects with a personalized pitch you get 2-3% link placement on an authority website.
