How to hide your website's origin IP address?

Why you use a normal Hosting behind Cloudflare?

Get Offshore Hosting, that is a little "stupid" using cloudflare to hide your IP, I mean you have a Hosting that doesn't accept DMCA.
Why you don't use a Offshore Hosting?

Alternative to Cloudflare is DDoS-Guard.net free plan.
Do I need cloudflare cdn if i am using alexhost and vpn for my website?

I advice you to use a DDoS-Guard or Reverse proxy. Is not obligatory. But if you want security then use it.
In case of privacy you should use a reverse proxy like DDoS-Guard.net or other (you can create a reverse proxy with other vps)

VPN is good to hide your IP, not to hide IP of VPS in website. You can use
https://www.ovpn.com/en/features/public-ipv4
And point to Alexhost VPS

Hey also if im using alexhost managed vps for my streaming website it wont get taken down right? (I heard some people saying alexhost is not a dmca ignored their website has been taken down)

There are a SECRET weapon to discover a IP of Forum.
You can use reverse proxy, you can use cloudflare. Is still be possible to know the IP, even if MX are very well hidden.

I can tell you, in MP. I don't share this to public for abuse reasons.
I would also like to know.

Tunnel your webserver through a reverse proxy. This is what most torrent tracker do.

Alexhost is dmca ignored in some packages, you need to check that
You may check what package is offshore and dmca ignored or not here:
https://alexhost.com/dmca/
If they break their rules of course they will be suspended, but I had vps with alexhost and they are dmca ignored.

Cheers
Rawr is right, Cloudflare is not good for hiding true IP as they will say your real provider to DMCA makers. I came here to say that, OVPN public ip is the perfect solution, Thepiratebay use/used them and providers went to court against ovpn, they lost: https://torrentfreak.com/ovpn-wins-court-battle-after-pirate-bay-data-demands-rejected-200911/

Also remember that Cloudflare log your IP, so they can potentially release it if ordered by a court.
Of course, Cloudflare now gives all details about your account for example Logs of Email, IP Address logged in Cloudflare account, Real Origin IP (the server behind cloudflare proxy), payment methods, dates, names everything information that cloudflare have in their hands.

With Gmail account is easy to identify who is behind website X or Y, because they ask Google for information about the email used in Cloudflare.
And if you use your own real IP address it will be easy to them to track you.

Cloudflare is good but in moderation, the best alternative is DDoS-Guard.net free plan, does the same of cloudflare and are more resilient against DMCA.

DDoS-Guard is the alternative of cloudflare, and yes ddos-guard have free plan like cloudflare.

Hello,

Is it possible to hide aws ec2 hosting provider details from IP address? I'm using Ubuntu (Linux) Server. I use clouldflare reverse proxy... The way things are going I won't last long... Is there anything I can do within the server to help?

Alternatives to CF and ddos-guard? I am surprised but ddos-guard asking me to remove content.

Probably best way to go is DMCA ignored hosting, but I saw a lot movies related websites using cloudflare for years without getting down.

My goal isn't to bypass DMCA, it's to hide the server IP from the public.

That's because complaints are forwarded to hosting provider if they don't mind cloudflare wouldn't mind too ;) So hosting should be strong.

You need 2 things for complete hiding your Server Main IP.
1) Reverse Proxy ( Cloudflare will also works )
2) SMTP

Buy a second Offshore VPS and make a reverse proxy with Nginx or HAProxy. Then is done.

I suggest them follow providers for Offshore VPS and DMCA Ignored hosting

Like I told you, you can do it with Nginx. I highly recommend you delete your account in DDoS-Guard then open a new one.

My ddos-guard is a paid service. They have issues with the adult niche it seems.

You can just use Cloudflare and it's DNS - very simple to do that.

Just go with Ovpn public IPV4 ovpn.com/en/features/public-ipv4 with that your original IP will be hidden behind a VPN. The piratebay is using it torrentfreak.com/ovpn-wins-court-battle-after-pirate-bay-data-demands-rejected-200911/
