Remove the content and activate again after 5 days or ignore that. They say they will suspend? Forwarding to you doesn't mean you need to obey.
They say you need to remove? If not, then you can ignore it.

Yes, but the best is also to buy another vps and make a reverse proxy to your offshore vps and then use cloudflare.

Cloudflare -> Second VPS Reverse proxy redirects to -> Your final offshore vps

This is very nice way.

Yes, but the best is also to buy another vps and make a reverse proxy to your offshore vps and then use cloudflare.

Cloudflare -> Second VPS Reverse proxy redirects to -> Your final offshore vps

This is very nice way.

I am looking for a reverse proxy server with ddos protection, but it looks like anything offshore with 1gps bandwidth is expensive.

Honestly CF would not ban you unless there is a US court against you. TPB haven't been banned since 8 years, but your infos may be released to "copyright holders"
 
or, alternatively, you can have your web hoster at a country where it won't give a fuck about a letter from Cloudflare at all. (eg. Netherland, Romania... )

DDoS-Guard is the best alternative if you can paid for their plans is a great reverse proxy. Alexhost have DDoS Protection.
Of course is expensive because depends the network they are, 1Gbps is not cheap in some countries.

With CDN like Cloudflare or DDoS-Guard you solve the issue.
DDoS-Guard had a free plan. I don't know if they still have.

The second alternative you have is looking for a Offshore VPS good protected and make a reverse proxy instead of using cloudflare.

Yes that is for sure. Cloudflare is obey now to give all details to ACE (Anti-piracy group) just search in Torrentfreak news website.
DDoS-Guard is a good alternative to cloudflare and is Russian Based. However, if you will use cloudflare i shouldn't use any gmail! Always using VPN.
 
Cloudflare will take action if you have a DMCA ignore host. Cloudflare basically will serve all your media as an image or video saying that the content is against it's TOS. This doesn't mean it needs a court order.

Cloudflare is not secure for privacy, if you will use them make sure you use VPN+TOR and avoid using gmail accounts with them.

You have two solutions
1. Using a VPS and make a reverse proxy with it and using ddos-guard -> reverse proxy vps -> your final vps origin
2. Without CDN, just using vps to make reverse proxys.

There are other CDNs out there, I can't promise them are good.

To be honest, you can not go wrong with Cloudflare.
 
If the purpose of hiding the IP is for freedom of speech, I don't see much of a problem with Cloudflare.
Also, if you are hosting your service on offshore hosting and also use Cloudflare, the IP may leak out of Cloudflare, but since it is offshore, it is perfectly fine.

At any rate, Cloudflare may be able to make DMCA makers go through the extra trouble, or use it to buy time, but it is not enough to completely hide the IP address of the server.
You need to configure your CDN or reverse proxy to match the nature of your service.
 
DDoS-Guard ended with his free plan, but ddos-guard is much better than Cloudflare.

Cloudflare will give your server IP behind cloudflare to anyone who send DMCA. And also they cooperate with anti-piracy, they leak your data, IP, timestamp, email to them.

Cloudflare is great, but they will leak everything you have done with them, full logs.
 
if you compare cloudflare to ddosguard
ddosguard are lacking, performance wise.
