Should I be using https or socks?

With https I get an error about authentication and with socks I get :

Error 404 Not a Winsock Error (Error #20008)

I signed up with ProxyBonanza today to get proxies, and now I can't get Scrapebox to work. I get the message "error 407 proxy authentication required" when I try to harvest URLs or do anything.

Do I need to change some type of setting, or change some permission, in order to start using my proxies with Scrapebox?

It's been four hours since I signed up with ProxyBonanza and got my proxies. They still don't work, I've tried to run them with Scrapebox a dozen times...any idea what the problem is??

Did you include your user name and password in your proxy set up? Mine with proxy bonanza didn't work till I set them up with that info.

Do you have the correct format in entering private proxies ip : port:user : password (without the spaces)?
If you still have that problem I think you need to contact proxy bonanza. I only got that issue when I used the proxies immediately but after waiting for a few minutes, it already worked.

you enter them in the proxie box on the main interface like this

proxie:username: password

No spaces....... though.. I had to leave space because otherwise the forum shows a emoticon

here is a sample when using private proxies:

59.36.98.154:8000:myusername:mypassword

use the username and password that you use when you log in at proxy bonanza

also, you can edit your proxies via excel then copy paste to a text file then import it to scrapebox

As most people have noticed, i rarely ever mention upcoming features in advance they just "appear" however i thought i would show this one.

It's a semi-auto comment mode, which auto populates your data and spins it and runs through proxies like normal however with this mode you can skim over the blog post then tweak your comment a bit to make it far more relevant before submitting.

This is ideal to do with the highest Pagerank or most valuable blogs, then the others you can auto-blast. Or if there's any blogs that fail the auto-modes you can retry them this way. Also some people just "don't get" the whole auto comment thing and have all sorts of problems, so this is yet another way to get your links on blogs.

I didn't think it normally used that much, but when it was hanging this time, I opened task manager and that is what it was using. Something along the lines of 1,695,000 K. I don't see how another program could make it look like sb was using more than it was, but I'm sure it had something to do with why it stopped working.

When I say the program was hanging/freezing up, I mean it didn't say it was "not responding", it didn't crash, I could minimize and bring it back up no problem.... but it would not budge past the current comment it was trying to post to and would not let me abort or pause the commenting. It just stayed there in limbo til I forced it closed with task manager. The main sb window was still actually counting how long the operation was taking, but the slow posting window just said 3 seconds til timeout, and just stayed stuck at that 3 seconds.

Anyway, I doubt this will be a regular issue, but if my previous suggestions could help prevent it from being a problem at all, then even better.

Mine is sometimes not responding with high memory usage either, when I go over 200-300 comments in BlogEngine. I believe it has to do with my proxies? I'm running the hide my ip program basic version outside of SB and have it set to change proxies every 5 minutes. If I run a long text file with many blogengine websites SB freezes and I have to use task manager to close it. But it's not a big deal, now I always keep my comments under 200 a session.

Still one of the best programs I ever bought!

Re the username/password input. I believe it is case sensitive so make sure you copy the settings you have at proxybonanza precisely.

But i havent been able to find a tutorial on how to check if ur comment was approved. i see the linkchecker check box but what do you fill? your domain in the websites? and the sites to check in the sites-to-ping one?
