Dude, They are the football club with the most debt in the world. $1,500,000,000 in debt. They have rejected cryptocurrency advertising. I highly doubt they want to create a cryptocurrency let alone a metaverse. They have no money

Isn't it decentralized and "safe" without the possibility to be blocked?
it is but its infura that blocked those IPs.

MetaMask clarify that the ban is because of their settlement with Infura, which is the service supplier that MetaMask makes use of to get data on and off of blockchains. Infura states this is result of the new sanctions directives from the United States and other jurisdictions.
