Want to start: YouTube Channel

Hello BHW. I hope i posted this in the right section, If not I am sorry. For a few months i wanted to start a YouTube channel but never has the time or courage to do so.

As I start to have some free time I want to fill it with something I like. The 2 main features that I love doing are editing & cars so I was thinking to put these two together. I like to watch every car that passes by, to think about the engine, the brand and so on. The content I want to make is based on mostly car engines, and top 10's of something related.to this.niche.
Do you guys think, as this is a very saturated niche, that this could work ? I plan on posting 3-4 videos a day with great quality.

Another hobby I have is astronomy and everything related to the universe. Could this be a better option ?

Hello Gamezilla. Great thought and nice idea of posting car edited video but the thing is first you have upload some youtube shorts to check the response and by that you are increasing your subscribers or not. If you failed to increase subs.. in cars videos then apply your 2nd idea. It was just my suggestion hoping for the best. Thank you!!

Hey, i don't plan to generate money, If it will happen, I don t mind And to answer your question, idk, with YT shorts it can be possible, to bring traffic and than make long videos.

Astronomy is quite good niche with low competition if you are good into it then would be best !

Yeah, i thought that too. I will try to make shorts for both ideas. See what is more entertaining to people.

go for it, just make your titles very compelling and thumbnails very appealing. and upload consistently I think Youtube considers that one factor for a channel's strength and reliability.

If you ask me, I would say that cars would definitely be a better option for YouTube videos, as you'll have a lot more audience for this niche, and a lot of material to cover, it won't be that difficult to create and publish new content regularly, and for this, you don't even have to film your face if you're shy, just voice. Astronomy seems interesting as well, but it's more obscure, and specific types of people follow this topic, with cars you would be able to monetize your channel later more easily.

I uploaded 100+ videos on youtube in 2020 and applid for monetization after about 8 months and in the end my channel wasn't monitized and then i deleted
everyvideo and nw i am recording my car parking truck parking gameplay but not getting enough views... Youtube is sometimes vert harsh i guess and its a very difficult profession

Yes, it is possible that channel will start earning in one month. But for that content has to be unique and exceptional.

Yes, it can. You can build it and apply for monetization. It all depends on your creativity in interacting with your audience and giving them what they want.
