The indexing issue hit my sites since December and still my posts are not indexed

I have a 1.5 year old website. Tbh it is an affiliate site.

Because I spend most time and money to buy real products and review them, so I have not built any links for my site. It is nearly zero authority.

Thanks to content being high quality and good internal links strategy, my posts ranks quite good for the past few months. Metrics such as time on page, bounce rate are all good.

However, since January, Google has stopped indexing my new posts. They are all marked as "crawled, currently not indexed" or "discovered, currently not indexed".

My old and current posts are still ranking well so I don't think there is any penalty.

Google just does not care about my new posts anymore.

Please suggest me a way to deal with this...

Your crawl budget will be higher
Shitty content is more likely to get indexed

It’s never really been possible. If you want to rank you need links and it’s always been like this.

You just buy the biggest foundation links package to your homepage that you can afford, whenever you start a website or you realize that you need backlinks.
You can even just use no or brand anchortexts

Build a few though, but space out their discovery by 2-3 weeks each.

Backlinks have become pretty important, that's true, as they give algorithms proof that our content is quality and that other reliable sources want to connect with us. But for indexing itself, you need to fit in different criteria like your site has to be optimized well and to have high performance, your content must be unique and original, you should have a decent amount of links, and so on. So, basically, you need to take care of more different things and aspects at once.

I've gotten the indexing issue as well. Started from December.

New posts used to get indexed overnight, now it takes a week. I think it's intentional. Changes to already indexed posts are reflected on Google overnight still.

I noticed this same indexing issue earlier into Covid panic era and then people theorized Google was "allocating the resources to Covid related stuff" more, among other things, and that's why things didn't get indexed. What if they were just having the new Google update a test run before taking it down for adjustments, and now we here.

It's true that you need at least a few links for index purposes but focus on content more than anything. as long as you've done keyword research and a tone of content at decent quality, you'll rank.

Sadly a lot of people just buy the cheapest garbage they can and expect great results.
