For those people who consider a good hand with WordPress, @chadthornee is a great guy for what he is doing.
I found his thread the other day, and the price is reasonable. Since I have been here for a while, I somehow thought about why not I found a client and asked him to do the work. Yes, I collaborated with @chadthornee during this project as a project manager.
The project was okay because the client is from China and knows nothing about the web. It's one of the good things because we don't need to focus on the looks and branding of the website. The client didn't care about that much. However, it's also bad because people like my client are biased toward website development. They think it's easy. You click and drag. So this gave me lots of headaches. We created one version, and the client had trouble explaining the features.
Fortunately, @chadthornee is very patient and has no complaints about every request I have. Sometimes, I made some changes and broke the entire site. He just went like, " I'll fix it once I'm back to the office." However, he and I are still learning a lot during the project. Mainly, I was responsible for editing lots of photos and giving lots of feedback. Communication is the key to the success of this project. In the end, we got there!
I genuinely hope you can work with him if you need a handyperson to develop WordPress.

I tried the service of OP (at full price, not a review copy). He took much longer than expected, but at the end, delivered an outstanding piece of work that I didn't even have to touch further apart from a minor edit or two. I usually get my website made by my VAs but somehow of late I was looking for variety and that is when I bumped into this thread by OP. I must say I am happy that I did. Money well-invested, and I have already given a second order.
