Hi everyone,
I'm doing this topic not to motivate myself because I'm already fully motivated but to take advice, feedback and more.
The topics in the "Journey" section have always motivated me and if it can help me move forward and at the same time motivate people to start without making the same mistakes I did then that's great.
I am a web developer and I have been developing for more than 10 years now. A few months ago I decided to learn how to develop on blockchain, how contracts work on the Binance Smart Chain...
I started with small tools to get the hang of it, then I tried bot sniper, bot arbitrage and bot sandwich, it's not that complicated and github is full of code about it. But in practice your bot is not as fast as the competition and you have to use private nodes to get closer to the speed of competing bots.
I saw a lot of token that pump from the beginning without real project so I told myself that I was going to have my own token with the project later to have my own collection of NFT that would be usable within a Play-To-Earn game.
I sold all my tokens to be able to deploy my token and add a small liquidity of 1000$, that's all I had.
The tokenomics are as follows:
20% tax on each transaction
- 12% that goes to the holders in BNB
- 5% for marketing/development
- 3% for the liquidity pool
That's a lot but also big rewards in BNB.
The first night of the launch, the marketcap went from $1000 to $13,000, and 30 minutes later everyone had sold and I was all alone with my $1000 liquidity that I had locked for 6 months.
Most of the people who had invested were actually bots that monitor the addition of liquidity to a contract.
A few days passed, every day I was contacted to shill the token, famous "good plan" or call groups that are only scams for the most part, I lost the little money I had in there.
Several days after the launch I partnered with two people who told me they would handle the marketing/communication and I would stay on the dev side of the project.
They brought a lot of people and the hype started to come back, every day the marketcap increased but I didn't have time to continue the developments because I was solicited by everyone, everyone wants to talk to the "dev", whether it's for listings, audits...
The more we went up, the bigger the hype became, because the rewards also increased for everyone, the community finally understood that if they started to bring people back, they would be rewarded with rewards in BNB.
I developed a small dividend tracker so that everyone could track their rewards history and future rewards.
We ended up with 1.8 Million marketcap with no real project since all we had was a token that gave rewards in BNB and promises to make games later.

After that it started to drop, my associates and some of the community started announcing anything and everything to save the hype, I found myself having to develop a game within an announced time frame that was impossible to save the hype. I spent evenings and nights there, I didn't sleep anymore, I was full of stress and the whole community was relying on me, my associates were now very small and "waiting" for the game to take over the communication and marketing".
The game was launched late, the solid circle of the community was reassured but the game was a total failure, it was not what the community expected and in reality they only wanted to be reassured and not to play.
I decided to stop the game and take a step back, I was still all alone like in the beginning, my associates were just waiting, not doing anything.
I put down all my ideas and my initial project idea and I redid a clean whitepaper, the community loved it, so I redid the whole site in the same idea as the whitepaper, the community loved it too and felt that change was coming.

Now, there is only a solid circle left in the community who don't want to sell and are waiting for the next step of the project, the problem is that in the meantime they are not motivated to shill like at the beginning of the project when they could still earn money with the rewards like at the beginning.
The marketcap is currently 120k, we went up high and we went down very low.
The problem is that in the world of crypto, nobody is trusted and we have lost several thousands in marketing for things that have absolutely brought nobody back.
That's why I'm here, if people here have already launched their token and they have good contacts I'm a taker.
I am currently developing the NFT part of the project and they will be available in the coming weeks (I announced first quarter 2022 on the site and the whitepaper to be broad).
I was thinking of having the game developed but I like to have my hands in it and I started to learn unity so I think I will do it myself and pay people with me to create a dev team.
Despite the ups and downs I am still on the project and I intend to see it through.
With the rewards I earned ~$8000, so much more than my initial investment of $1000, but it took a lot of work and stress.
Now I've managed to step back and work serenely on the project. One of the big problems right now is that the English telegram remains dead because the vast majority of the community is French and therefore on the French telegram.
I don't know if I can put the link of the site, if it's not the case, tell me I will remove it: https://www.themoon.games
If you have good contacts or ideas I'm interested in the next step, this is not a sprint but a marathon and I intend to finish this project!
Thanks for reading and sorry for my English!
