That is actually kinda funny because I feel depressed because I finally cracked the game I tried to for the last 15 years. Last few months I have been in a strange depressive state about what to do next and what is meaning of it, as my goal always was to find a passive income source that would be automated and would get me above-average income. Have you ever played a really hard video game that you really liked but when it ended or you got to the point where you do not need to grind for exp anymore, - you are left with that empty feeling of what to do next?
I'm lucky enough to be in contact with a BHW member here who is actually doing x200 of my results with automated stuff as well and he kinda gives me some motivation to keep the grind. And funny enough, there is more than one person that I know is making way more than me on autopilot, and none of them are deeply technical people, they are good marketers and with only their focus and willingness to put hours and dedication, they got where they are now.
I never started to use Twitter and Instagram accounts, and for youtube, this dropped to about 4-5k accounts as I burned a lot lately testing things. And youtube accounts are not in use for now either. Current results in this journey are from a different social network where the overall scale is way less than in those big social networks. My estimations are x500 of current results when all those social networks would be added to the platform I built and accounts start being used.
But to give you an answer on how to manage those accounts, it's actually a lot easier than you might think. I will try to explain it.
In this current journey, it's 100% autopilot. Here is the count of messages my platform is sending out hourly. Yesterday my wife who still likes to monitor income and graphs said to me with a worried tone that something bad is happening because the messaging system reported a drop in outreach. I have lost so much of my interest in the project that my response was that she should check in a few hours because the platform is now smart enough to heal itself from almost anything that could happen. And it did. I even did not open my laptop.

I think you stated a problem that you should take care of to be able to scale. You should sit down with a pen and paper and write down what exactly are the actions are you doing in those accounts, how you could simplify them, and then document them so even a 5yo could understand and do it.
For example, let's take a random social network Pinterest and as its demographics is mostly female based, let's take a product that almost every female is looking for - a magic weight loss program.
So the actions you are looking to automate are the following:
- [browser] Registration
- [browser] Login
- [server] Storing sessions so you do not need to re-login
- [server] Finding an image source were to take content from
- [server] Making an aggregator that pulls down content to your database
- [server] A script that makes your content unique and adds the ad to it
- [browser] Content posting on the Pinterest profile
All browser-related tasks can be done by hiring or even better learning by yourself how to automate browser by using Selenium or Puppeteer. No rocket science here.
All other scripting tasks can be done by hiring a dev here in the marketplace or by learning it by yourself. Regarding how fast a learner you are it could take a few weeks up to a few months to master it yourself.
It's quite easy when you put all of this in such perspective, right?
Well, no, you just have to be willing to learn a lot and be focused on your goal.
Yes. But what would you expect? To participate in a car race you have to own a race car. Even if you built it yourself. When I started my IM journey I was so broke I could not afford a server or proxy, so I built everything myself. A 10$ invoice to pay for the captcha solver? That was way too much, I had to find a way to bypass it.
This is a great example of how overthinking can be self-destructive. Options are always there. I would suggest start taking ownership of everything you do. No one else is to blame that you don't earn what you would like to, not the government, not your current employer(or project), not your location, only you. I was running an unsuccessful business for 12h/day every day for more than 8 or 9 years. When I understood what the definition of insanity is, I took ownership of my actions, started to wake up at 4 AM, and read books of self-help bullshit before starting a regular workday. Books related to marketing, sales, self-growth, and so on in hopes to bring up my current business to a path of success. And it helped me a ton. But not for my current business at the time, it helped me to understand why what I do - sucks so much and why I should get rid of it.
Then I found the BHW forum. I spent approx 5 to 6 months only reading this forum and bookmarking threads and even single posts of other people's journeys, success stories, especially good ideas that I could use. Fast forward another year and now I'm one of them - posting this story and being able to showcase some of my projects. I still don't consider my journey successful tho. I still pay off debts from the past and haven't been done with them. But it all helped me to understand where I want to focus and what to do for the next decade.
I hope you will find something of an inspiration in what's written above.
Absolutely. And actually does not take so much as someone could think.
Docker.
