Sharing something that I plan on doing very soon. Would love to hear opinions and suggestions. Be as critical as necessary. Done a crap ton of research and I see a lot of people still sending bulk cold emails with affiliate links and making so much money. So I'm testing it for myself. I bought a database of millions of emails. I'm testing out sending 100,000 with my template. And using an affiliate program that's known for this stuff. I also went ahead and inserted a link at the bottom of the email telling them to subscribe for more free offers and stuff like that. This way I can simultaneously build up the permitted method lol.

Any other suggestions on how to make this more profitable?

How else can one monetize bulk emailing?

Yes people make shit load of money with cold email but not by your way of doing it dude.

First: you have to clean your email list

Generally... each market is different...

The customer journey is not the same.

Spamming is giving a low return generally.

Be sure to make a customer research first and be sure about the need of your audience.

Then use the most appropriate templates and modify them.

Email marketing is like dating... asking someone to marry on the first date is creepy.

Selling something directly is creepy too.

ok man so i see all previous replies aren't going anywhere and giving nonsense response to what you're asking, this is bhw forum damit, so make sure your email list is scrubbed, you want to avoid bounce, stay away from huge list, more think of filtering and warming up, even if its cold email, you want your traffic to receive emails worth the curiosity on subject, and worth the content to click on them, do or do not there's no try boo

p.s , first email is just scratching the tip of the iceberg, funnel the F off them

p.s2: make sure you're building a double opt in list at the same time, this within funnel, read russel brunson's DOTCOM secrets, and it will everything make sense, lots of gold awaiting for you if you make your due diligence. don't listen to ignorants and haters, whoever dares to go for it will get results

Thank you for actually giving me something valuable! I actually did start working on that I sent out 150k to be verified/cleaned. And I also tweaked my opt-in website too. Definitely getting started possibly sending out 500-1000 a day myself. Hired someone else to send out 100k so I can get an idea of how much my current template can profit. Thank you for this advice seriously.

Oh no definitely not using my domain yet! lol I hired someone to do it so I can get an idea of what my conversion rate could be. Definitely going to check that link out too, luckily I found someone to do me a one-time favor cause getting emails verified is super pricey.

Now a days, it's really hard to drop your email directly to inbox. There are lot's of spam filters you need to bypass.

Honestly, I'm going to test all niches. Starting with weight loss/fitness, then the make money online, then fashion/beauty, dating & relationships. All that Sh* lol and then whichever niche(s) makes the most money i'll stick too. I have a feeling weight loss and dating will win.

Now a days, it's really hard to drop your email directly to inbox. There are lot's of spam filters you need to bypass.

That's true too, aiming for above a 90% inbox rate for me, the guy I hired for this batch is like 95 I think

You need to clean your list from spam traps and known complainers.

Evaluate your content to make sure that you'll pass filters.

Segment your list by interests/openers/clickers, make a unique list of your double opt-in subscribers.

It depends on your list size and the process you're going to follow, you may need 1 or many servers.

Firstly, if/when you're first starting to mail, buying a "database of millions" isn't the best way to hit the ground running as the biggest issue that you will have in the beginning is consistently mailing volume.

I would say that as a beginner, it would be worth spending more to acquire a smaller, more targeted list. I read above that you plan on mailing all types of offers, but surely the database you purchased is at least targeted in some way? Or is it just a "1 million usa emails" type of database?

Anyway, I will avoid further talking about data and get into some tips for mailing.

1) Yes, the first thing you need to do is clean the list.
2) Instead of sending out "relationship" building emails, personally I've found the best thing to do is send out a bunch of blind swipes designed to get opens. You can google for examples, but again it's niche dependant. You want to collect openers from your database because engagement is key to staying in the inbox.
3) You then focus on your opener list and start pushing offers.

Let's say that on your million list, you sent out 5 blind emails designed to be opened.

Bulk mailing depending on set-up and other factors, especially since you're a beginner, we can assume 1%-5% open rate however once you've got your openers, will be getting at least 20% open rates, smaller list sizes and better engagement scores.

Now you also mentioned you are paying someone to send the mails but when you mail yourself, you need to ensure that you warm up your IP's and just as important: you need to make sure your send domains have Good/High reputation (for optimum results).

Also, once you've got an opener list, you can start importing it into different ESP's as it will be verified active data.

As @jgeeked said, the number 1 step is to know the interest of your list.

Don't send your affiliate links directly, you need to create a bridge page to avoid getting blacklisted from day 1.

Wow this was a lot of good insight. So yes the email list I purchased was targeted specifically for fitness and weight loss. I plan to get other list as well that are targeted in the other niches. I took this route because it was wayy more cost-efficient than email scraping tbh and I wanted to get started asap. I am definitely going to implement your blind swipe suggestion. I didn't know engagement correlated to inbox rates. Do you have any providers that you recommend for IPs and Domains?
