It's almost as if there isn't a single page that sits above 100k in niches that were easy to grow a few years ago, I remember researching other competitors when starting out and every single one had crazy engagement and high followings. Growing to 100k didn't take months and engagement always remained steady unless there was a major update. The average page now has >20k followers with 500+ posts while getting very low engagement, I wonder if it's even worth starting out again considering the current updates...

The algo much smarter today, like as you said above the result no longer the same as pre-2019. For me the cost and effort are no longer sustainable for the old business model, it is better to grow manually with original content. Or move to TikTok

The new algo sucks! Just way too smart. Gone are the automation days.
Purchasing from SMM will stall your account.

Just move to tiktok and youtube shorts (some massive engagement there)! Not that easy to grow with the hacks.

By now with the new Instagram algorithm I have given up on growing pages, I see it more as a waste of time.

There still are tons of big pages, but yes unless your reels go viral, it will take months to grow any decent sized pages.
But, if the reels do go viral, the page can grow very quick.

No point in solely relying on the Algo anymore,It's luck, trends, timing as well as with a fear that it might not go viral tomorrow so having a backup plan or any other growth services helps,Based on the Niche,Content and the Audience.

It's not as easy as it used to be.

Reposting and automation were the two biggest tools that blackhatters used the most and both have been criticized by Instagram lately and they have been taking actions to fix them.
You will have to think out of the box, try new strategies and get creative to grow accounts to big numbers now!

Use reels. Instagram is pushing that hard right now. I'm still getting good numbers. Focus on good content. Reposting any random shit won't get you growth anymore.

instagram's algo nowadays is becoming worse and worse even if u make good content...
I would suggest you to move to tiktok since its quite easier to obtain a large following.

Reposting content does work for me, but it's more like trial and error. I don't know what post would go viral, but many do. For example I have a reels video that got 518k views, same video was a repost from a different page.
Though I don't know if meant reposting with the use of bots, might not work that way.

Everything right now seems to be trial and error on Instagram.

Yes IG is harder to grow right now, but you can use IG reels it helps to reach a wider audience in which some of them may convert into followers. I think to keep posting good content consistently and if you have a budget just pay shoutout from the bigger page which can help you gain traction.

I agree with this 100% 3x a day everyday without skipping
