No man, nowadays 200$ is nothing in pakistan due to the currency de-evaluation. You need at list a 1000$ to survive here.I heard 200$ is a lot of money in Pakistan. I suggest you move to Pakistan and live like a king.
Is not possible, however been doing it full-time since 2018For real... How do you do it? Simply it's not possible.
I've been trying for a year now, I have one site that generates as many as 5000 visitors a day and two others that both generate 1000 a day. The average cpm of the first one is $0.2 and of the other two is $0.13. That means about $200-300/month. From google adsense, from all the websites. How do you do that? Considering that you have to pay to add links all the time, otherwise after 6 months you don't get links google starts to throw you in the second page and each link costs as much as your monthly income? And considering that to get to this point I had to work for a whole year every day
Basically in order to live with this shit I have to work 8 times as hard as I did so far, also considering taxes. This is simply not possible since my time is limited and I already spent almost all day from the last year on this.
Great insight.I get what OP wants to say...
The only thing that is not mention is only that business has changed.
For example having a website monetised with adsense only and building an SEO strategy around it is absolutely useless in 2021.
First you need to know who you serve, what is your ideal customer and what product or service you offer to them.
SEO is a channel... and a business requires a product or service.
SEO is a channel and a good one for customer acquisition but that is it.
No one should use SEO to monetised with adsense or another ad network in 2021, you need a product or service which fits the market, you need a brand with a vision, mission and values... a real business.
All the rest is fluff from my perspective.
SEO is great for inbound marketing and the best usage of SEO according to me is for lead acquisition, all the rest is shit when it comes to SEO, once you have your lead magnet in place you do the selling in the backend.
I doubt any serious business is basing all their business fully on SEO without lead capture, makes no sense at all... and people should forget ad networks, it's basically a scam.

No wonder you're not making money. So many useless comments
Holy crap! I have to get back to middle school as spelling must have changed since then, man! Last time I did spelling, failure was spelled failure, not feedback.OP, Failure is actually spelled Feedback.
Change your mindset.
Me, you and a few others I am sure.Holy crap! I have to get back to middle school as spelling must have changed since then
Especially with pronouns, man. Nowadays, people confuse he/she with they/it hahahaMe, you and a few others I am sure.
Hello Holtz,If you can generate 5,000 visitors a day in certain niches and monetize accordingly you can make a very good living. I'll use local lead gen as an example because I'm in it and I'll also compare to the like of review style websites.
With JV partners I have a heap of pretty crap spun/mass page sites and these still do at least 10% conversion rate (traffic to leads). If you could drive 5,000 traffic daily across multiple sites you'd be driving 500 leads a day considering leads can pay anywhere from $1 for low costs services all the way to $200+ or so for restoration that be anywhere from $500-100,000 per day.
Now lets take a product review site with 5k daily traffic. 40% click to you're retailer you're promoting (2,000) and 5% buy something at an average of 5% commission and $100 spend. That's $500 per day. Of course, now you've got risk of the affiliate network cutting rates etc.
One's ability to earn online really depends on your ability to spot opportunities. Learn how to spot opportunities and you can make a lot of money even with the same effort. I love the local space because 1k traffic per month is incredibly valuable and for review style sites it's peanuts. Find niches with demand and little competition and you'll make money. Even on a small local scale.
Here's a statistic to ponder:
There are ~5,110,000 cases of water damage every single year in the US (14,000 per day). Just capturing 2 leads per day in the restoration space and you could potentially make $10,000+ per month in leads if you're selling them for $$$ each. Now I'll be real honest, this is a tough niche but if you were to experiment with demand and target small towns you might be able to make that demand. Ranking in a city of 20,000 people will be much easier than trying to rank for water damage restoration Houston
Then there's adding twist to old methods etc. figuring out how you can improve existing systems by reducing costs/time for a service etc.
