Making a living online is not possible

For real... How do you do it? Simply it's not possible.

I've been trying for a year now, I have one site that generates as many as 5000 visitors a day and two others that both generate 1000 a day. The average cpm of the first one is $0.2 and of the other two is $0.13. That means about $200-300/month. From google adsense, from all the websites. How do you do that? Considering that you have to pay to add links all the time, otherwise after 6 months you don't get links google starts to throw you in the second page and each link costs as much as your monthly income? And considering that to get to this point I had to work for a whole year every day

Basically in order to live with this shit I have to work 8 times as hard as I did so far, also considering taxes. This is simply not possible since my time is limited and I already spent almost all day from the last year on this.
Check back one thing
are you doing busy work or actually doing productive task which actually bring money?

so if you are too busy in few stuff which is not producing enough money then move your time from those activities towards those which actually can bring money.

I'm at the point now that I can say "I'd doing just that", but it's taken 15 years of grafting, learning from mistakes, and working hard.

The amount of time I have failed is more than the amount of times I have been successful with IM. Trial and error is the way to go :)

So you've been trying for a year, try for 4-5 years then let us know, many of us here haven't made any $ until years after. You need to find something that is needed and provide a superior service, you never know what will end up making you the $$$$$. Also "methods" won't work in the long term, unless you're doing bh stuff for many years.

It is getting harder and harder as an individual to make money online, (facebook ads bans- higher budgets, seo, youtube, AMAZON dominating)
we best go all out with our efforts before the well drys up.

There are many techniques to earn good money on the net,
dropshipping
amazon
youtube
adsense
ppc ads
I have personally invented 7 techniuqes I've earned $1000+/day with after working at it 7 years. I am on my 10th year & I now own a Lambo :)

Just study, seeing like 50 tutorials first b4 starting anything & you will achieve. Competence is synonymous with ability. also never try any make money online courses directly w/o seeing many more tutorials on the subject.

If you can generate 5,000 visitors a day in certain niches and monetize accordingly you can make a very good living. I'll use local lead gen as an example because I'm in it and I'll also compare to the like of review style websites.

With JV partners I have a heap of pretty crap spun/mass page sites and these still do at least 10% conversion rate (traffic to leads). If you could drive 5,000 traffic daily across multiple sites you'd be driving 500 leads a day considering leads can pay anywhere from $1 for low costs services all the way to $200+ or so for restoration that be anywhere from $500-100,000 per day.

Now lets take a product review site with 5k daily traffic. 40% click to you're retailer you're promoting (2,000) and 5% buy something at an average of 5% commission and $100 spend. That's $500 per day. Of course, now you've got risk of the affiliate network cutting rates etc.

One's ability to earn online really depends on your ability to spot opportunities. Learn how to spot opportunities and you can make a lot of money even with the same effort. I love the local space because 1k traffic per month is incredibly valuable and for review style sites it's peanuts. Find niches with demand and little competition and you'll make money. Even on a small local scale.

Here's a statistic to ponder:

There are ~5,110,000 cases of water damage every single year in the US (14,000 per day). Just capturing 2 leads per day in the restoration space and you could potentially make $10,000+ per month in leads if you're selling them for $$$ each. Now I'll be real honest, this is a tough niche but if you were to experiment with demand and target small towns you might be able to make that demand. Ranking in a city of 20,000 people will be much easier than trying to rank for water damage restoration Houston ;)

Then there's adding twist to old methods etc. figuring out how you can improve existing systems by reducing costs/time for a service etc.

Anything is possible. You have to find your own path towards your goals. You can have a thousand pieces of advice from the realest gurus around...and still fail. Grind hard till you find your zone. If that is too much... You can always sell the site and start projects with the money.

A lot of people follow "advice" - and the truth is that you need to come up with your own methods.

You can use someone's idea, but you need to put a spin on it - and that means not creating a cookie cutter site with the same script and tactics as someone else.

Your mentality going in will define what you get out of it. If you go in with a defeatist attitude, that's exactly what'll you get.

Also, success doesn't come from trying - it comes from trying, failing and adapting.
This is the best motivation advice I've seen so far.
Well done!

You've tried for ONE YEAR, in ONE YEAR you want the absolute blessing of making a livable wage online for your LIFE. The world doesn't owe you shit.

Stop crying, tune down that ego and keep working and learning.

There are many aspects which influence your profits from your project. Perhaps, the niche that you have chosen is not really interesting anymore, do some research and learn which niche is trendy now.
