Hello everyone,

I started a blog in the gaming niche and I am enjoying it, I don't have many articles published (roughly 10) and I get around 200-300 page views/day.
I applied to Adsense and here are my stats from the last 7 days:
1633031028084.png
(Mostly tier 1 traffic. USA: 50% then it's Canada, United Kingdom, Germany...)

Like I said before I enjoy working on this blog but my goal is also to get some money out of it.

Is it my niche or is it just Adsense who gives a very low RPM?
I think switching to Ezoic and try with them. I know I won't get much but it motivates me to write when I see good money stats :)
With my keyword research I aim to get 200 000 page views/month and hopefully a RPM of 15$ I should in theory get close to 3000€/month, which is my goal to be independent and start blogging full time. Do you think such RPM is reachable?

If you are in the gaming niche please share your experiences.

Thanks guys

I'm not a gaming niche, but the first thing is to be good at something to be passionate about, second, you will need link-building methods besides ads, if you want to grow, read a little bit about some famous bloggers as Backlink or Neil Patel. Good luck

It is true being passionate really helps. Maybe in the futur I will start a link building strategy but for now I am I am focused on content.

If someone has experience with gaming niche please share

Did you got approved by AdSense with only 10 articles? That's impressive.
Could you please tell me the average words count of your articles?

I got approved by adsense but they really pay peanuts I was hoping a little bit more .. My articles have between 500 and 2000 words

Can adding videos in my articles help increasing revenue ?
Long term goal is Adthrive, anyone has a gaming blog with them ?
For info the content of my blog is game guide, how to and stuff

Your ads placement is shit. Ctr is too low. Your earnings will increase if you can fix that...

You earned €2.30 from that traffic in 7 days. If you can optimize your ads to get a ctr of at least 3%, you will get:
3/100 x 1490 x 0.23 = €10.28

Most people I've talked with on FB groups and reddit have said gaming is a low paying niche.

Use auto ads, haven't you?
I am using Adsense auto placement, I shouldn’t I thought that was the best option.

It is a good niche. I am also doing amazon affiliates in this niche.
That is a good idea to do some affiliating
Don't get discouraged by the rpm
If a lot of people aren't going for it, then you'll probably have tonnes of search queries to cover

You could use google trends to see what games are trending atm
thanks, it is true there is a lot of keywords to write for

Adsense auto placement is always bad for me in terms of CTR. Try without auto placement.

I don't think you'll make much as there is a lot of completion. When you say gaming - do you mean gambling?
