How does pinterest recommend pins?

i wanted to know, how does pinterest shows it's pins?
I mean...
For ex- I am from country A, so does pinterest will show my pins to the majority of people from my country?
Or does it shows all around the world?

Because pinterest has separate domains for each countries.

Does anyone knows the answer?
