So domain is about 10 months old.
Homepage is optimized for 4 target keywords.
Strongest backlinks pointing to homepage - they are powerful from niche relevant sites homepages.
Homepage does not ranking on any keyword, even on domain name (without .com)
Domain is PDM-EMD (has 3 target keywords, but not in exact order).
Anchors - about 90% naked url variations, 8% - brand "domainname", <1% - "domain name".
Domain was dropped before me, but has zero backlinks.
Inner pages are ranking on target very easy keywords, but in #30 - #100+ positions.
Inner pages has some backlinks itself, also all them are linked from domain's homepage.

What's your opinions ?
Change the domain to new one ?

domain penalised?

Can this be some kind of google sandbox also ?

The reason I mentioned penalty: in 2011, I had a domain penalised and I had the same you have now, i.e. not ranking for the domain name and no keyword ranking in top 30.
What do think if I 301 redirect it to new domain (due of backlinks juice) - will it pass penalty ?

I redirected it like 2 years later.
I, personally, don't think the penalty will pass.

Your domain has a penalty.
I recently bought a similar domain. It wont rank for its name even with the TLD.
all keywords are between position 90 and 100. The domain was abused pretty badly by our beloveth internet spammers looking for quick money. It is now junk.
It sucks. Sorry.

If your home page doesn't rank for even the domain name I think something is wrong somewhere. Are other pages ranking for anything at all?
Hope your site is indexed by Google.

Because, usually if your homepage doesn't rank for your domain name it is usually a sign of penalty or the site not indexed at all

May be your homepage was copied or you might violating the usability rules of Google.
Kindly check the format of the content causing the issue.
If your content was copied, it lines as second for google, so kindly change up your content to make it unique

Add more content to it and also build more backlinks. That is all you can do.

First of all analyze the competition keywords + content length + backlinks count and backlinks metric, do more than a competitor to get boost

Do a competitor analysis, maybe the competitor has better backlinks and referring domains. Check the content are they unique and optimized for keywords. If everything is good then this might be a penalty.

No, it will not pass the penalty, link juice will be passed.

I think because of penalized your domain cause this issue.
Try to use keyword with high position and build more links with high RD will help you more.

Check GSC for any manual actions

Yes, other pages ranking a little, as i said in the first post.
If i search for site:domainname.com - i cannot see homepage in results (several thousands of pages are indexed).
If i search for domainname.com - homepage is indexed.

In my opinion it is nothing to do with more backlinks and more content to get ranked on domain brand name.
It should rank with zero backlinks.

Ok, i am moving to a new domain in a couple of days for testing.

Did the same backlinks work for you on any other site ?

Did you check your competition in the niche that you are targeting. See what kind of anchor text they have.
