what was your first PC?

mine was a 386 with MS-DOS back in 1995 I think, I already knew how to handle MS-DOS, because I had taken a course before
It came with a huge printer that made a lot of noise and was quite heavy, but it was a good PC, it had a little game that I enjoyed for a long time.

How old are you? I had this same pc at around the same era, but I was a small child. All I knew was how to load a games menu, used it only for gaming (with some pretty classic games like quest for glory 3, striker soccer game, Lamborgini and dozens of other great games).

P4 second hand cost was around 7-10K INR and was in around 2005-6. Though using internet vastly from 1999. Being in India I was fan of chatting on yahoo mesenger and rediff and speaking with random people on skype. They were really great days. People were sending AFF links in between the chat , though I wasn't able to understood that it is for affiliate

I don´t remember the exact modem but I remember it was a Pentium 1 with Windows 3.11

In fact, whenever you turned the PC on it loaded on a shitty admin dashboard from where you could run Windows or run DOS.

This is where I learned DOS basic commands.

I also remember installing games using like 10x floppy disks

1/10, 2/10, 3/10...9/10 and 10/10

the first computer that i owned was a windows xp pc that I accidentally destroyed in less than a week and my father told me that whoever made that computer didn't think that someone like me was going to use it.

Bought back in 1994/1995 some time, brand new for around $2500 back then.
