what was your first PC?

I just remember that my first PC had a processor called cyrix....don't remember the rest of the config. However it ran on electricity:p

I had an HP laptop circa 2007? I honestly don't remember the specs, but I know for a fact that it wasn't worth the $500 my parents paid for it. The laptop lasted for around two years and I've probably owned 5 or 6 laptops since then. I'm pretty happy with my current setup (fingers crossed that it doesn't break).

Started a long time ago with a TI 99/4a, then moved up to an Atari 800xl with happy drives (special 5 1/4" drives that could break disk protections), then I finally got an Atari ST.

Used to love the game midi maze with the Atari ST. It was awesome. First time I was ever exposed to the idea of networking. Man I really miss that game. Fun times...

This brings back memories!

My first real PC was I believe a 8086 chip and it probably looked close like this

I remember upgrading to a color screen later on and my mom buying me a Soundblaster 1.0. I loved the Sierra adventures like the one in my profile pic!

Before that I had a C64. Best times ever. Running back from school just to play your games.
And before that I had an Atari 2600 with those cartridges. Awful games but who cared at that age anyway. It was crazy fun!

Ah, nostalgia, Commodore 64 and Sega :)

I don't even remember what my first computer was, and unfortunately I didn't keep it.

Mine was an unbranded, custom built very low end Windows PC. The good ole white case with no identifying marks and low ram. :D

Mine was an amstrad like the one below. It had a separate tape drive for loading up games and also had a monitor with a single colour (green) display.

And my favourite game on this computer was Jet Set Willy. The graphics were amazing at the time lol
