I wouldn't "log" into my accounts in front of a person, whether it is a friend or stranger.
It doesn't extend to just social media accounts, what about your amazon account, or your google account, or even your email?
Would you log it in front of a stranger? I really didn't think so.
It wouldn't make sense having a "Show" button for passwords then, if that's the point you are trying get at either, yet at the same time they do.
See, if you log in your amazon account for example infront on the bus, and you press that "Show All". In that brief glance, your password was super easy to remember and someone next to you saw it.
Or some guy was just doing a video recording a moment with their family/friends etc and you were in the background and unfortunately, your password was exposed in that brief second of recording?
What's stopping them from logging on later and going on a shopping spree?
How about if you happen to have roommates? Are you comfortable in typing your CC details into a payment cart?
You know they are around, but you dont know if they are looking
