Have you ever wondered why Credit Card Details ain't asterisked like passwords when you type them?
Considering how highly sensitive there are.

It's because if the cc number is in asterisk, then the Chances are high to being filling Wrong Details, and that is why they are in Normal & Visible Text so you can quickly & Easily Type this Sensitive information :)

Isn't that also why the "Show" button exist for?
The same can be for Passwords, some people have ridiculously complex passwords much harder than just a string of numbers

It doesn't mean that this “show” button should also be in the Payment Check-out Page. Because then it's make no sense for having it on the Payment page

Here is the Things Why the “Show” button is in Password only why Isnot on Payment checkout

See, you Mostly Probably login your Social accounts and so in front of your Friends or sometimes in front of strangers. The “show” button Protect your Password when even you login in front of someone situations like that & did you ever Fill your CC details or something in front of stranger. I bet you don't, right !

So you got your answer :)

CC details are on your card, so they are shown on screen. Password is in your mind, so it's hidden. Even if these websites hide CC details with asterisk, someone can directly see it from the card.

I wouldn't "log" into my accounts in front of a person, whether it is a friend or stranger.

It doesn't extend to just social media accounts, what about your amazon account, or your google account, or even your email?
Would you log it in front of a stranger? I really didn't think so.

It wouldn't make sense having a "Show" button for passwords then, if that's the point you are trying get at either, yet at the same time they do.

See, if you log in your amazon account for example infront on the bus, and you press that "Show All". In that brief glance, your password was super easy to remember and someone next to you saw it.
Or some guy was just doing a video recording a moment with their family/friends etc and you were in the background and unfortunately, your password was exposed in that brief second of recording?
What's stopping them from logging on later and going on a shopping spree?

How about if you happen to have roommates? Are you comfortable in typing your CC details into a payment cart?
You know they are around, but you dont know if they are looking

To prevent you from typing the wrong important details. We know that we rarely check what we're typing so they may have thought not to get it more complicated for us.

I wonder why I'm not a millionaire yet :/
Simple Bears steal honey not money for why you as a bear not a millionaire yet if you start stealing money then you become a millionaire bear.

yo mann.. those credit card details are invalid.. try to enter your real credit card and send us screen shot

Well bear until you get round to robbing a bank or rich person house you will stay poor.

I will agree honey tastes great but you can't sell it for big money unless you get a lot of honey.

If the numbers are asterisk'd they will never get the money in one try :smirk:

I don't remember a time where I had to input my CC details in public.

I bet someone has tried "your card details" on amazon already! :D

So just like that @TheVigilante is the autoproclamed king of the lounge? I thought we were a democracy here.
