What is the best self hosting email marketing software/script/cms ?

I need a script/application in which I can host on my own server so that I don't need to pay 3rd party email marketing company.
I have tested one before but the email goes to Gmail inbox.

Few things are important.

1. Perfectly work with shared hosting SMTP
2. Email should not go to spam
3. Able to create campaigns, set, time frame to send an email.
4. Email open and click, reply tracking, etc
5. Email template customization and personalization
6. Bulk import, export, filtering, sorting, statistic

Please suggest good software for this.

Have a look at MailWizz or Acelle Mail. Acelle has a nicer UI while MailWizz has more features. Sendy is also good if you use SES.

PoweMTA with MailWizz or Mumara..., tools are not the problem. It depends on what you want to do, you need to learn how cold or bulk mailing works.

ACELLE MAIL UI is good but sending speed is too too too slow approx 1 mail per sec i acheived after tuning it well>>

So mailwizz is So far better in all opensource or self hosted appliacation avaibale in market.

But issue with mailwizz is one your database is big and use as a production for long, its performance lost..

i saw demo on their Website, looks quite good tool for SMTP and lead management for both.

It's been so long since I used it. I find it seemed like a great solution if you wanted to resell ESP services or had clients that wanted to do emailing. Mailwizz might be better if you need a more robust solution. Acelle does have a nice UI though.

Points 1 and 2 are mutually exclusive. You cannot blast bulk emails from a shared hosting SMTP and expect to hit the inbox. Those shared IPs are already blacklisted and have zero reputation.

i am not really looking for resell servises or build a SAAS.

actually what i am looking for in marketing tools is:

smtp based throttling settings
proper lead management possibility.

i used to use phplist, listmonk, mautic, billionmails - and some have shared throttling across added smtps (listmonk) or no simultanous campaign possibility (phplist)
and none of those has proper (crm like) lead management.

all those are for sure ok to use but adds a lot data work ))

I get what you’re trying to do, but honestly the tricky part isn’t the software it’s deliverability
self-hosted tools can handle campaigns, templates, tracking, etc., but getting emails into inbox especially Gmail on shared SMTP is very hard. That usually requires proper domain setup, warm-up, and a good sending reputation.
There are self-hosted options like MailWizz or Mautic, but even with them, inboxing depends more on your setup than the tool itself.
