Can anyone help me out with a bot issue? For months now Im getting odd amount of traffic from Ashburn (source: Amazon servers) and I know exactly who it is. What I want to find out is how or what he's using. I know there is no way to stop it since it seems to be getting past Google but If I can find and return the favor, that should be enough.

yeah, i think ddos-guard can get you out from your problem.
and you can set the redirect ip in your control panel to block or avoid that traffic..
just my opinion..:)

Thanks. What I failed to mention was we are a shopify store and they don't give us that type of access. Do you guys know a good e-com platform alternative that can integrate better?

Bot traffic simply means non-human visitors are coming to your website. Whether yours is a big, popular website or a new one, a certain percentage of bots will pay you a visit at some point of time

Right, but it's not that kind of traffic. Those bots will crawl us a cpl times a day at most. This thing hits us 90 times a day from Ashburn and the other cities that don't have the population to justify the traffic. Its definitely being steered by a heavily invested human. I'll get a firewall with cloudflare set up that should help I'm sure his bag of proxies is endless

They are using AWS, just file an abuse with Amazon including all the details. Meanwhile, you can block all those suspecting IP's using Cloudflare firewall.

Integrate cloudflare to your store you won't have any problems
