Assumimg VPNs are banned in a country, then it would still be easy to access the download of any VPN and also one can use a VPN within a VPS. Next, some wise person will come and say ABC or XYZ govt. has announced a ban on inhaling oxygen in that country.

Amazing, some of you have no clue how easy it is to crackdown on VPN connections.
Private or not you can slow them down, make them barely able to hold a connection, and outright ban them.

Setting up your own VPN or using a VPS can work for a time.

I don't know much about politics but it seems like China Govt is preparing its people for war time (maybe world war 3?) and getting them fully focused on loyalty to the Party. Anyhow, this is a topic beyond this forum as well as this thread.

It's hard now to survive, there's a lots of things that they're banning right now which isn't good for the online marketing. We're using everything that are effective so they should also compromise something. But banning isn't solution.
