They can only track you if they know that that the address is yours. For example, if you make a deal your sender perhaps can make a relation between you and your public address, so the sender might relate your transactions too, and tell others that you own that address. Otherwise, you and your transactions are just hex strings.
I can collect btc for u i have many wallet that i can transfer to you from.
