I love small cars (like hotwheels, 1:18 scale, 1:64 scale), and would like to create a blog about them. However, I'm not even sure what is the content I can even write about. Any suggestions?

Well, you can simply review them ?
Take each model and review it, you can write about thinks like accuracy to the real car, details, background information about the car they are based on, its history if it has some interesting tale to it.
Stuff like that.
This is just an idea , you know the subject much better and I am sure that with some thought you will find ideas that are 100 times better.

Just make sure you continuously have good topics to discuss. Which I think is difficult if you go with this niche.

You can create an amazing blog on Instagram or Facebook. Write stories, add photos of your work and the creation process. In social media easier to get fans.

I would suggest that you look for websites that already specialize in Hot Wheels; this shouldn't be that hard.

Go to Google Keyword Planner tool, then type in the domain name of those sites.

Google Keyword Planner tool would then spit out the keywords that are related to those sites.

The next step is to enter those keywords into AnswerThePublic or free keyword services like Keyword Shitter.

You would then see tons of keyword suggestions.

I would suggest that you pick out only the questions; these are questions that people actually ask when they're doing searches on Google.

The next step is to pick out a free membership on places like Ahrefs, Semrush, or some other paid tool—a lot of these offer free trials.

Using a free trial, run searches on those questions that you have filtered from your list.

Look for ones that don’t appear to have any traffic and don’t have a keyword difficulty rating.

Why do this?

Well, the chances of your competitors gunning for those questions are going to be very low.

They want to target questions that already have traffic according to those tools, so they won't bother with zero traffic or traffic showing up as N/A.

These are easier to rank.

Once you have ranked for these, then you can try for more competitive questions.

Then, finally, you can shoot for more competitive keywords.

This is how you build domain authority faster and get more of your pages to rank so that your internal linking will have more link juice to pass along.
