I don't know if anyone else noticed this but, I recently started seeing stores/shops linking to products from their Instagram/Facebook shop, on their Instagram(and facebook) post caption.

Previously, you could only tag the product in the picture/video. Now, they're linkable within caption.

This is a really nice development as most I noticed many customers(mine) don't know they need to click link in bio to access my store.

Unfortunately, for me Instagram/Facebook shop feature isn't available in my country so I can't use this till there's a way out.

This is an example. This is part of an Instagram caption.

That's one good thing for everyone who has a web store. It makes new opportunities and a better way to get traffic.

Do you know how can I make it on Instagram? Maybe they're using some kind of bot that can make it clickable text in the caption.

Thanks for sharing

I don't know how to do this, instagram/Facebook shop feature is not even available for my country.

Strange that I only saw this on this page and another that am not able to remember.

Do you think a bot could do this? I doubt because I can see in their Facebook they also tag products on their pictures, this used to an Instagram only feature.

Above is a Facebook post tagged with a product from their Facebook shop.

Anyone with a Facebook and Instagram shop should give it try let's see if it's a new feature.

I've figured out the second page I saw same feature/linked product on their Instagram caption. I try my best to not giveaway their site/page or other info. The picture above is from the second page.

Some things the pages/businesses have in common are:
-fashion niche,
-USA based pages(this is very important because Instagram shop feature is only available to select countries, so it makes they start testing this new feature with pages domiciled in the US)

IG is working its way out to expand the Shop features to more and more countries, might take a while but as long you're not in one of the banned countries, you should get it soon.

I think am from a banned country. Too bad, many services do not want to extend their reach here.

I'm thinking about creating a Facebook account dormiciled in the US and move all my pages and profiles to the account. But don't want to risk it as a lot of money and time has gone into building and growing them so far.

wow, this is a cool feauture. finally we can promote more shopping products.

These are for Instagram shopping enabled accounts. Unfortunately Instagram account shopping is available only in a limited countries. But I'm sure they'll roll it out for everyone eventually.

Hi! you need to be patient, Instagram is gradually expanding the overview of countries and soon your country will be removed from the list of banned.
